Everton 3 Watford 0

Good game to watch and Watford gave Everton a good run for their money, but Everton's class showed. They seem to be playing a different type of game since I last saw them and will be chasing for honours this season.

Jodie Handley scored the first at the far end from a cross, and I didn't get a pic.
Nat Dowie got the second and I got a lousy pic which would have not been too bad if I hadn't pointed the camera too high Embarassed
Emily Westwood completed the scoring:

Are you going to support your ladies?

You know... I'm gonna go one day I think... free entry for me and one of my kids too.

Really? It's worth it then - it's £3 for me to go in.

Why not go to Arsenal game on Dec 2nd - It should be a cracker Wink

Nice pics Ron.

Btw - sorry, but I got the scorer of first goal wrong - I thought it was Jody Handley, but apparentlly it was her corner from which Michelle Evans scored.
But it was at the far end, a long way off Rolling Eyes

According to Everton website, Rachel Brown is out for a while:

Everton Ladies have been dealt with the blow that Rachel Brown is set to be out of action for three months.

The goalkeeper will undergo surgery on Thursday in a bid to cure a long-standing knee problem.

Speaking to Evertonfc.com, the England international revealed she has been carrying the injury for the past nine months but hopes to be back before the end of the season.

She said: “I have had several problems in my knee. I'm having an arthroscopy in London to mend a cartilage tear and remove bone Spurs.

“I have had the injury for the past nine months. The decision was leading up to the World Cup if I had it then I could possibly miss the World Cup. So the decision was to build it up to be as strong as possible and be as near to 100% for the tournament. The situation was reassessed when I got back and now is the time to have the operation.

“I hope to be back for the last two months of the season.”

This Everton team will be no pushovers. They are good on the ball, they have a few quality players who can pass run and shoot. They played in a 4-2-3-1 yesterday where the 4 attacking players were interchanging position + Jill Scott who was doing a lot of forward runs.

Quality players : Jo Potter she is very very skillfull
Rachel Unitt purity when striking the ball
Natasha Dowie intelligent runs and strength
Jill Scott powerful midfield player
+ Fara Williams who did not play yesterday

Everton ladies
