Things are really moving along now. These people we are getting in now are the same ones that built the deathstar down the road so know how to get these things done. |

Fantastic news - I'm so damn excited about all this stadium business. I still can't decide what I'd prefer to happen though out of a WHL renovation or a completely new stadium. As much as I love WHL and think it'd be great to stay there because of the history, I just love the idea of a state-of-the-art new venue which would see us through the next hundred years. I also think that the new stadium route might be more cost effective in terms of getting value for money. As an architect, I hear lots of reports of renovation projects spiraling out of control and it'd be very difficult to tailor the renovation to suit today's requirements. The transport situation is also something which is almost unresolvable at the current site and probably the most negative point about WHL in it's present state.
A tough decision to make but I'll be happy either way so let's get this show on the road. |

Although i have never managed to go to white hart lane i can tell the fans love going there.
Maybe we do need a new stadium in a better area for transport links because ive heard thats why alot of people leave 5 minuites early to avoid the rush out of the stadium. And also i dont know how far we could extend the capacity of white hart lane too. |

Don't worry about it mate, once you're earning a bit you'll be able to make the handy trek up the M4. With regards to the proposed new stadium , exciting times ahead hopefully |

Not sure how things are moveing along on the ground shareing frount ... but i was wondering how much per game it was going to cost us to rent upton park from West Ham?
they would expect the lions share of any gate money i expect .... how long would we ground share for ? two years minimum of what 38 home matches ? how about and i know this might sound daft ...... build Luton a new stadium which is priced at £55m on thier website .... maybe a bigger stadium than they have planed ... 25,000 would be a bit small for us .... so we could see if we could go for a 40,000 stadium if it does not add to much expence .... they could rent the new stadium from us for thier games and if a buyer for luton comes along they can buy the new stadium too on the proviso we can still use it until our new stadium is built .....A) we dont have to share with West Ham B) we dont give West Ham any extra funds C) we help Luton (better than helping West Ham) ....silly idea? |

time to change my mind .... we need to make sure the new stadium can host matches like Tuesday night !
we need to keep that atmosphere alive ! SO keep the design as close to the present stadium as possible ...60,000 Spurs fans will feel like 120,000 ! |

I want us to stay at White Hart Lane so I'm all for the plan to increase the capacity to 52,000.
Right now, the North and South Stands are perfectly fine so I'd suggest that they just knock down the East and West Stands and rebuild them to fit with the other two, maybe adding a third tier in these stands to bump up the capacity. The East stand looks so dated because of the two pillars that hold it, whilst the West stand is just plain ugly. Having two rows of boxes is a poor idea, and what makes this stand worse is that it only holds about 6,000 despite being the length of the pitch - both stands behind each goal hold more people. |

Yes after talking to Spurs fans that go regularly to WHL, i think its the right thing to stay here. I think an increased sized WHL is essential, we need the income because we cant offer the wages big players want so if we want to compete witth the big 4 we need some real quality in the team.
Malbranque is a very good player but i dont think hes good enough for a team looking to compete with the top4. I think the Fred saga has shown we cannot offer good enough wages to big players like that. So i think thats the main reason we need to boost the size of White Hart Lane to 50-55 thousand. |
