Ready for more real entertaining Europe football? Check this game out on Wed 5th December. Ticket already purchased as there is nothing better than a night game at the grand old stadium Goodison Park.

It would be interesting to watch Everton in a game where a draw is fully acceptable for one part (Everton) and more or less acceptable for the other part (Zenit). Yesterday with Nuremberg Zenit looked very impressive except two foolish goalkeeper's blunders. However, in these days each year our teams usually get increasingly relaxed from day to day. Would it be the case this time?

I see that I was not quite correct in my estimation. Zenit will have to do their best as a draw would, most likely, mean their failure to qualify.

Unfortunatley I am.

Everton - Zenit 1\1
Nuremberg - AZ 3\0
AZ-Everton 3\0 (no offence meant - only difference in degree of motivation)
Larissa - Nuremberg 0\3

Everton, AZ, Nuremberg - 7; Zenit - 6; Larissa - 0

So - come what may.:))

Lucky, lucky Everton. Never a penalty in a million years - the guy made a superb interception with his knee/chest whilst purposefully keeping his arms right back out of the way. Okay, Everton messed up the spot kick - but Zenit are down to 10 men.

Everton have had the better chances (from what i can gather) but this could go either way.

Not very closely as i was more focussed on the Arsenal - Newcastle match.. but i saw the penalty decision if that's what you're getting at.

Well, they had some good chances, hence they could have scored, hence it could have gone either way, hence i'm right. Wink

Hence it's a silly comment then as all games could do this, hence like saying "someone will win, lose or draw in this game, hence see what I mean, hence your wrong, hence I'm right, hence as usual.

I didn't invent the saying. Wink

And anyway, it means you 'could see the game going either way' which you could, as they had real goalscoring opportunities. Some games aren't like that.

You didnt invent the saying you're right for once, but please use the word in the right context next time.

As I said before! Did you actually see their so called great opportunities? I was there and didn't see one mate... About two to three shots on goal from outside the box if thats the ones you are talking about. Of course we could say in every game "it could of gone either way" but that would just be silly if every thread had someone saying that in wouldn't it?
