Cassano: "My dream is to play for Roma again" |
|
Sampdoria forward Antonio Cassano revealed to Sky that his objective is to play again for Roma some day.
Cassano's latest interview to Sky will not please his Sampdoria fans, as the former Real Madrid, Roma and Bari player declared that he would like to play for the Giallorossi again one day. "Roma were my home for five years and I often talk to Amantino Mancini," the Sampdoria forward declared. "I follow them a lot, but now, I will be jeered when I go there." "Going back in time, I wouldn't have left, I made a huge mistake," he continued. "However, the club promised me some things which all of a sudden were not there any more, and I have a very strong sense of pride. "Now I know that I will put my agent in difficulty with this, but it is his business. My dream is that of returning to Rome, to play for Roma." Cassano also spoke about his relationship with Francesco Totti - which was famously rocky. "I haven't spoken to him for over two years, as we had some problems between us, but he is fundamentally a very good lad," opined Il Talentino. "When I will go to Rome, I will greet him without any problems, because apart from being a great footballer, he is a very good person." |

HAHAHA yeah right. I think he would have to do some major ass kissing in order to get in again since the way he left them was most rude.

I don't know he left in a way that the most intransigent Roma fan will never forgive, and in the moment he left I was really angry with him but I usually tend to forgive... I don't hate him anymore as I don't hate Capello, so if he has really changed his mind and would be able to obtain the forgiveness of his former team mates, staff, coach, and president I will have nothing against his comeback

I think we both know that isn't major enough. He's got a long way to go. Poor fellow, he will be buying a load of chapstick. |

Anyway Spalletti and Rosella Sensi already replied to the possibility of his comeback saying basically that he can stay where he is |

Despite being rejected in the past few days, Sampdoria forward Antonio Cassano still maintains his love towards Roma.
Once again Cassano has spoken about his love for Rome, the team and its fans during a television program 'Guarda che lupa' on Sky. "They always made me feel like a God," declared the former Real Madrid player. "I wasn't living a debauched life, but I loved to go out at night in the Capital city." Then he described the moment he left Roma for the Merengues, when his career nosedived. "The fans considered it as a betrayal, but Roma remains my home and because of someone else, who always accuses others, we did not win anything," he added, mysteriously. Before he joined Sampdoria this season, where things have improved, Cassano languished under Fabio Capello at the Bernabeu. The striker then went on to talk specifically about new England manager. "I will never have anything to do with [Capello]: to defend him I ruined myself," concluded Cassano. |
