Millsy.....can you be a bit more specific as to what is slow...e.g which links etc?

I can't speak for Millsy as such The General, but I kept geting the error message "HTTP 500 Internal Server Error" at work today, and this evening "the website cannot locate the page"

I thought it sounded as though it was a problem my end, but its only on here that I get it. It can be pretty much any thread, or any post I try to open, rather than a specific part of the forum - it seems to "time out".

For some reason it seems to happen to me more in the afternoon, but it has occurred at least 5 or 6 times this evening.

*edit - make that 7 - just happened again trying to post this.

me four!

if you click in a link to a post, or sub-forum, it will take ages to load. and half the time you get error messages.

Yeh Im getting the same.
General, if you look in the mod forum, we try and keep record of how often the site goes down - we have seen an increase over the last week or so where the forum just won't load.

I have never seen anyone with a sig after each of their posts on here, do I have a setting disabled so I cant see these or is it that they just arent allowed?

In the FAQ it says:
To add a signature to a post you must first create one; this is done via your profile.

Yet I dont see anywhere in the profile to create one...

Just a little query I wanted sorting out Smile ...

When posting a link, how can I add my on text to the link rather that the full URL. For example, I wanted my link to read:
Boruc Pens New Deal

but all I can do is:
http://www.sundaymail.co.uk/sport-news/scottish-football/2008/01/06/artur-boruc-seals-three-year-5-5m-deal-with-celtic-78057-20276690/
