When i have opened this topic nearly six months ago, i said that Fenerbahce will win CL this year and a lot of people laughed at me. Also one of them jamesp_1927 said that i will give 1000£ to every member of this forum and i accepted it. The bet still goes on and now Fenerbahce has a real chance to win CL.

ok if Fenerbache win I will give you £200 if they dont you give me £200.

Now put your money where your mouth is Wink

Come on this is unfair bet. I will take the money just 200£ and also just Fenerbahce win the cup. You win the prize when any other team win the CL. This is just laughable. I will give you 1£ if Fenerbahce wont won the CL, and you will give me 1000£ if Fenerbahce wins the CL. This is more fair. Deal?

Read all the topic below and see how i see the future and somebody is blind to see future and be careful when you bet with someone Smile Arrogance makes people blind

Getting to this stage is the easy bit though. Wink

They could have to overcome one of Barcelona, AC Milan, Chelsea, Man United or Real Madrid to make the quarter-finals - if they do that, then i suppose they could win the tournament.

Fener also have Zico as manager so don't discount them yet........

If the matter is Turkey, rest of remaining is detail. Winning CL would be a great archievement for Turkey not just for Fenerbahce.

I'm sure he refered to Fenerbahce as "we" in that thread posted, so he may be a posing Galatasaray fan and really support Fenerbahce. Or it may be a loss of translation in his foreign language. Or i may have even imagined it.

I doubt Fenerbahce are able to win such a big tournament, but i've been keeping an eye on them for a while this season and they can play some frighteningly free-flowing football on their day. All those Brazilians have really gelled and are producing some great football.

They were amazing against Trabszonspor yesterday.

Of course, i also watched Sevilla hit 4 in style past Santander. lol The second half was some of the best football i've seen a team play this season.

First please correct your pronounces. Its not Fenerbache its Fenerbahce. If you cant pronounce it correctly call it just "Light Garden" which translation of it in English. Also Marios its not Trabszonspor its Trabzonspor. Then my opinion about the draw, Sevilla simply worst defender team in Pot 1, so its good for Fener to play against such kinda attacking mentality team. They are, i mean Sevilla a pure attacking team, and Fenerbahce is playing well against teams who force the game in Fenerbahce zone because of their speed to get opponent zone with well passing traffic. Cambiasso who plays for Inter expressed his impressions about his team first CL match in this season on Istanbul and warned Spanish teams in a Spanish newspaper in this way before the draw. Sevilla and Fener chances are fifty fifty for each. Playing in pure attacking mentality against Fener is some kinda suicide for a team in my experience in Turkish league on the match against my favourite team Galatasaray.
Possibly one of the best draw for Fenerbahce when you look at the Pot 1. So big bet still goes on Smile

Relax with the spelling demands there, endofrainbow. I know that in my case it was just a typo. I know how to spell their name.

I see you prefer to focus on that than the fact that a Greek-Cypriot can actually be objective and compliment a Turkish team on their current good form. Sheesh...

Anyway, back to topic.

I doubt Fenerbahce have what it takes to win the CL, especially this season that ALL the big teams have made it to the Last 16. It's your right to hope, of course, no doubt about that, but try and be more realistic about their chances.

If they can get past Sevilla then we'll talk again.

Being objective is not a thing to praise. Its a normal for a human being who has a brain. So i didnt interest with it. Pronounsation is very important in my way. Ýf i say POAK instead of PAOK how do you react it or Balton instead of Bolton. Please more caution on it.
