I've just realised that the only 2 games I've seen us lose was when I happened to be sitting to the famous Ken. I must avoid him next time - just in case But, I bet he can tell us who last beat us in the league. Thanks to Smurfy's research, it's at least 66 games (starting from beginning of 2004-2005) - and I found this on the FA site: The FA Women's Cup Final between Arsenal Ladies and Charlton Athletic on Monday 3rd May will be the first of two matches that could land Arsenal Ladies the League and Cup 'double' this season, following a tremendous run of 15 back to back League and FA Cup wins That related to 2003-04 season and was posted just before FA final. Arsenal won the double that season, so I assume the next league game wasn't a defeat - but there is no guarantee. Just seen Kaz Carney's goal at Bristol on SSNews - set up by Lianne S |

It's an Arsenal thing - men and women - leave it late to give everyone a bit of excitement

and to give us all heart attacks and grey hair

I think I've had several heart attacks whilst watching Arsenal Ladies not got any grey hair yet |

You might start looking my age then I've not got grey hair atm though, but that's because I did my occasional head shave. I didn't really want to do it in this cold weather, but somehow a toffee got stuck on my pillow, and stuck in my hair But, tbh, despite my great age, I'm not grey haired (even when it grows). Now - who is going to tell me to stay on topic? |

I should really tell you to stay on topic but I'm too busy cracking up over the fact you got a toffee stuck on your pillow and then in ya hair

I try to make it sounds like it is a close race
We all know who will win it but it's more exciting to write this than say season is already over... |

That drives me absolutely bonkers sometimes. |

You just can't relax when you watch them can you For women: Last league game (at Bristol) - scored only goal in last 2 minutes. Last FA Cup final (v Charlton) - let in early goal, but won by a big margin in the end. Last Premier League Final (v Leeds) - scored only goal in last minute. I'll just mention one men's game (as this is women's section): FA Cup final 1979 v Man U. Strolling it when 2-0 up, then let Man U get level late on before getting a last minute winner |

^ I wasn't even born yet in 1979!!
But I remember plenty of late game magic from last year, and a couple times this year. |

Well, as I'm an old git, I think I should mention things from the past to you young uns
And - I agree about this and last year |

Well ..the League Cup Final could be exciting ..Everton might play out of their skins and upset the odds . |
