Didn't watch this since I was watching the other matchup. (obviously)

Man City's number 1 priority. BUY A STRIKER!!! But seems like you guys were running around all game like maniacs. You guys are gonna be tired come the second half on Saturday. I'm sure Arsenal will be playing at blistering pace to take advantage of it.

Meh, id rather win this game than Saturdays but I think we will still have some gas in the tank for the derby. All the players look a lot fitter since Ramos took over, his fitness guy is a bit of a ball breaker from what ive heard, exactly what we needed.

Great result for the 10 men against the 12, including the ref.

Ramos has said it was our greatest performance yet which surely shows we are heading in the right direction.
Saturdays game is a different matter altogether, but to be honest had you said we would have come away with 3 victories v Pompey, and City home & away, my I would have chortled my little socks off.

Semi's are going to be a tough proposition - all the games will be difficult, yet negotiable...bring on the scum I say, and lets get some 2-legged revenge for last season!

That was one of the most disciplined and just downright gutsy performances ive seen from a Spurs team in a very long time, I cant actually think of another that was better.

Oh and welcome to the site spurmeon, good to have you here mate. Very Happy

So Sven goes out at the quarter final stage against a team playnig a with a man less...sound familiar???

Absolutely fantastic result for us, and I can't praise the boys enough. Totally deserved it by all accounts. Shame about the red card, and I can see the FA screwing us over again with the appeal - it wasn't a red card at all. Malbranque's was far worse.

Good to see Robinson return to form at last - what a save that was from Vassell's header! Shocked

Quality peformance by us yesterday.

Also i'd like to point the cracking pass by O Hara to malbranque for our second looks a decent player does young jamie.

2 cracking saves by robinson and a load of good stops too, Robinson looking very confident atm

Ehhh? No one that played for Arsenal last night will feature in the matchup on Saturday. (Unless we bring them on as a sub late in the game)
