pffff pathetic and lamentable, while there are big chances in the club Barça won't win anything again.

Beautiful goal I have to say, some lovely team work and counter attacking football from Real. Some great saves from Casillas in this match as well, it could have been level going into HT if not for him.

What the hell was Rijkaard playing at not bringing on Henry though? when he made the second substitution (Zambrotta I think?) that's when he should have put Henry on IMO. He's 1-0 down at home to Barca's biggest rival so what does he do? bring on a full back. I really don't know why he didn't bring Ronaldinho off either, he had a shocker and doesn't look very fit either.

Credit to the kid Bojan though, there's been alot of hype about him and that was a good shot that he had shortly after coming on.

So Real go into the break with a 7 point lead, Rijkaard has some work to do and if he doesn't get it sorted quick he could get the chop.

This is the reason Rijkaard won't be at Barca much longer. I'll give it till this summer, and he'll be sacked is my prediction.

Don't think that Mourinho comes because Cruyff doesn't like him and Cruyff's advices are important for our stupid president. I think that will be Van Basten or Valverde (from Espanyol).

I wouldn't mind trying someone like Valverde, but i don't think Van Basten would work.

To be honest, i wouldn't want Mourinho either.

I'd love to see Lippi have a go, but i doubt that'll happen.

I didnt think Barca & Espagnol had the best of relationships though..would the fans be happy with their boss taking over?

I missed the game because of a christening & meal afterwards but doesnt sound like it was much of a game anyway. real are really pulling away at the top now

Tell you's what, we'll swap. We take Rijkaard, you take Strachan. Everyone's happy....

Except Barca & Rijkaard

I agree Lippi could be a good option but don't see it happening.

Yes Barça and Espanyol relationships are bad but I'm sure that if Barça really want Valverde will sign him, perhaps in his contract there is a clause to leave the club if a big club wants to sign him or paying some money he can leave the club.

I think that where Rijkaard will go is to Milan in the next years.

The best team won the game. Casillas and Pepe had a good game. The beast did his part.
When FR put Marquez in the CB instead of Puyol, I knew a goal will come from there.
Madrid has a pretty good side. Raul you can order your favorite sam miguels to celebrate the title again Crying or Very sad
I would love to see Mourinho at Barcelona, but it is unlikely to happen.

Recorded this game last night to watch today, wasnt the best classico ive ever seen although it opened up a bit near the end.

Barca were poor IMO, just got nothing going as a team, Ronnie and Etoo are both trying to win the game by themselves when they should lay it off to a teammate. Henry for Ronaldinho was the substitution the game was crying out for IMO, Rijkaard should have done it as early as halftime.

So is this the end for Rijkaard?

I think none of the teams made their best football but Real Madrid defended quite well (which is very strange). Pepe was incredible and Casillas made a couple of nice savings, although he didn't have a lot of work to do to be honest.
7 points ahead, but we shouldn't relax, we were 11 points ahead of Valencia 3 or 4 years ago and then they won La Liga and Queiroz was sacked Confused

I hope that is the end of Rijkaard, of some players and perhaps of the president too.
