Juve: Barzagli and Amauri? |
|
Especulations are linking the Palermo players to Juventus. However, the Rosanero club doesnt confirm any bid coming from Torino. Barzagli would certainly add some class to our defense, but I dont see any advantage in getting Amauri now. hes a good player but imo worse than what we have, the legends Trezeguet and Del Piero, the surprisingly Iaquinta and promising Palladino. would rather if we saved the money and space to sign a really impactant striker, like Huntelaar, Palacio or Gila, who'll lost more space in Milan with Pato's debut and the possible transfer or Drogba or Ronaldinho to Meazza

Ronaldinho I think that will sign for Milan, Drogba for Real Madrid or Milan (Real Madrid for me is the most probable). I have seen some Juve games and Iaquinta is playing very well, he is scoring a lot of important goals. I don't like Gilardino, always that I have seen him he misses a lot of good chances, why don't Juve sign again Inzaghi? lol he scores more goals. Don't you like Saviola, I think that Madrid don't want him

I never liked Saviola, would rather either Huntelaar, Palacio or Gilardino over him. Gila is a great striker, he was letal at that poor Parma team a few seasons ago and always got some goals at the national team aswell. imo he isnt performing in Milan cause of Ancelotti's style of play

I don't know I used to like Gila, but recently he's playing really bad. I'm not sure it's Ancelotti's fault, he misses a lot of easy goals... I think it's more a mental problem for him, he underperforms when he's under pressure or something
I've already said it this summer but I think Saviola would fit well in Roma's team, if Real are selling him wouldn't be bad for January. About Amauri I tend to agree with Gonzaga, he's a great player but just not as good as Trezeguet and not this better than Iaquinta. He's also very similar to these two so I don't think Juve really needs him. Otherwise Barzagli would be an helpful buy |

Gila is a great striker but it's not his mentality that is affecting his performance. It is Ancelotti's style. Ancelotti I think prefers the 4-3-1-2 style and Gila wants to play as a lone striker, but Ancelotti won't let him. On top of that he isn't always put on as consistently as he should be and when he is put on it's not the best times and people always expect him to score. I would hate to see him leave for Juve but if that is best for him then he should go. Though Juve are good as it is and they do not need anymore strikers.
Back on topic, I think Amauri would greatly contribute. Honestly I feel he's the only real talent in Palermo besides Fontana. |

Well from what I mainly have noticed it's always with Kaka and Pippo up front and the rest of the mid supporting. I mean how come for international play he plays good ?But with the way things are going he will most likely leave because if he stays he will not perform and I am sure he will not want other teams to think he is not good and then risk lowering his career.

The power of A.C. Milan is Andrea Pirlo. He's the real strenght of that team.
I've seen many times milan matches and they have a lot of problems. One of them are the high age of defenders: Paolo Maldini 40 Marcos Cafu 38 Marek Jankulovsky 31 Serginho 37 Giuseppe Favalli 36 Massimo Oddo 32 Alessandro Nesta 32 Kakha Kaladze 30 Italian football is very fast and many times the Milan defenders fail to keep pace. Milan is Kaką-dependent, Lately their game is "give the ball to Kaką" and hoped that are inventing something... Gilardino is the player most unlucky that I've seen in 23 years of my life. Pato is a bet and Ronaldo is fat |

You are correct that they have a high number of older people but they are using the tactic of experience and knowledge over youth which so many teams do. It is a logical thing they are doing but they are not balancing it well. And Jankulovsky actually performs really, really well considering his age. I have seen him run down the line from end to end and deliver a goal scoring cross. It's more the problem with Cafu and Maldini otherwise Nesta, Oddo, Kaladze, and Serginho all do their part well. The real problem is with Cafu and Maldini that open up gaps and allow for opposition to get their offense going. I love Maldini as one of the greatest defenders of all time but unfortunately he is getting older and his performance is suffering. I hate to say it myself but it is about time for him to retire.
As for Kaka I am really not liking him as I used to. He has no particular style of play. He dosen't drible really well and his ball control is nominal, the only thing he has going for him is his pace and I anticipate it will not be long before he loses that as he gets older. He is not as great as many make him out to be. Right now Pirlo is the main man of the team. He is what holds the team together and he is defense, mid, and offense. |

You may not have ever seen play really Kaką is devastating! http://it.youtube.com/watch?v=wO12EB9OQ7k http://it.youtube.com/watch?v=eaz9-CETQ1A |

Yeah he was devastating when he was young. But now you can tell he is losing his pace and it is affecting his performance at times.

I tend to agree with max about Kaka.
But now we're going a bit too much off topic... |

Kakį is at his top at the moment, is madness to say hes losing pace. I think hes only tired of doing everything at Milan, he needs someone to share the responsability, and that could be Ronaldinho or Drogba or even Pato

Gonzaga if you want to discuss this Kaka topic further we could do it through pm or make another thread
Getting back on topic, is there any new news regarding this rumor? |
