oh man ~ why's the draw always bad for us? T.T

other good teams only face non premier league teams ~ except Spurs too ~ they've got to play against reading ~ but at least it's at white hart lane ~ lol

too many matches to play and it's going to be hard for us T.T

but i'd go for a win for my team ~ of course ~ 1-2 XD [close one aye? haha]

ps ~
and maybe 2-0 to Spurs ~ berbie or keano =P

A dull 0-1.

Why is this on TV? I would much rather see a plucky lower league side than these two slog it out again.

its all about the ratings my friend.

why give a much needed financial boost to lower league clubs that they desperately need to keep their head above water when they can swell the coffers of the corporate fat cats at Man United and Villa?

Indeed.

A sad state of affairs.

I was thinking that earlier, why show this match on tv. We can watch these two at it twice a season!

but a non-league club could use this money so much better. Its just another lot of spare change for Aston Villa and Manchester United suits...

Says the fan who's club wouldnt forego their share of the gate receipts to stop their opposition going into administration on monday.

I don't control what Liverpool do with their money and I don't agree with where some of it is spent. Albeit, I don't know where the majority of it is spent (not including transfers and wages)

hey forev ~ you guessed it right XD

first half's quite going so-so ~ since the villa tends to be pulling over too much ~ lol
thanks to fergie to put in Rooney to make the game more alive and finally ronaldo managed to tip one in by the brilliant pass from giggsy who missed his best chance earlier T.T
and the second one's just really really great ~ we do need Rooney to score more =P

I remember a few years ago where I said that I'd perform an indecent act on Rooney if he committed his future to United however.... Now I'd just do it for the hell of it. The guy is an absolute superstar, easily the best player Fergie has in his Arsenal...

It was a very boring game but then again it is going to be when the opposition just sit there hoofing the ball away and smothering anything that moves.

Very happy with the result, job done. Hopefully draw Liverpool in the next round to give them a good hammering.

What a boring match. Villa half tried in the first half to go forward but in the second they just looked dead, whilst it was mostly United. Can't say i'm surprised as Villa all too often fall to United, and it probably showed in their performance (with the psychological affect it must have).

The ref was out of his depth i thought too, he seemed to be just randomly blowing his whistle for challenge's - whether they were fouls or not. Luckily (well..) it didn't have too much of a say on the eventual outcome.

By the way, was it just me or did Rooney spit into his lap when he was on the subs bench?
