well we had a fairly comfortable win against Burnley , i didnt think we looked in danger of conceding too many times during the match . Burnley did hit the post before we went ahead but despite some good spells of possesion for Burnley we dealt with most crosses and shots quite easily .

The sending off by Alan Wiley of Laferty was a bit harsh i have to admit , i guess the studs were a bit high and the tackle could have been a leg breaker for Gilberto . It was a definate yellow but again the number of these dangerous tackles being commited has probably led to referees clamping down a bit more .

The goals were very well taken and Eduardo and Bendtner will be causing selection problems for Arsene Wenger if they continue to progress the way they are at the moment .

It was pleasing to see we also coped well without a number of first team players ....a good decision for Wenger to rest key players with Champions League games coming up soon .

Champions League? That doesn't start up again till the 20th of February. We've got a good 8 games (possibly 9 if we make it to the 5th round of the FA Cup) before the game against AC Milan.

I'm still in shock that Eduardo missed the target in the second half. Laughing But he's still clinical. Eboue absolutely sucked. He does everything well till the last pass or the shot on goal and then just completely screws things up. Diaby was a bit absent in this game. Everything seemed to be going through the right side of the pitch with Eboue and Sagna.

Traore and Senderos made a couple of blunders in the back, but luckily we didn't get punished for it. If it was against a higher quality team that had some finishing ability it could have been quite different. I don't feel too secure with Senderos filling in for Toure. Good thing for us, most of our EPL opponents are of lesser quality teams.

oh..didnt realise they were that far away ...still a good decision though anyway .. Wink The miss by Eduardo ..i think he looked shocked too .. Smile

Obviously we will need to step up a gear against Newcastle ....unless Stoke do cause a shock in the replay .
