Premier League Southern- the next one down from the National. They struggle to hang in there each year - a few years ago they were in the National. I saw them on Sunday at Welwyn - they had to battle hard against a good team from the league below to earn the honour of a away trip to Blackburn. They often play at the Withdean and have the same shirt sponsor as the mens team.

Thanks Pat Wink

Do they get any support from the men's club, apart from the shirt sponsor?

They appear now on the club website so I would guess there is some help. Since hiring a ground is a major expense I suppose that using the Withdean is helpful. I noticed they were looking for a manager recently and that they only had two subs on Sunday They are always in the lower part of the table and usually only win a few League games each season. They always win the Sussex County Cup though!

They reached the final last season, but just got pipped on pens by Liverpool, and beat Arsenal over 2 legs in semis.
In case you didn't know, the attendance for the first leg of semis at Emirates between AFC and MU was a record for a youth cup game - 38,000 Cool

Now - back OT, before we get told off Very Happy

No games anywhere near here then Sad

It was sooo difficult to even find results yesterday - I was trying for ages to get them, and kept editing the results.

Just to explain how difficult I found it - here is what I said to a member today on an email (I told her I'd probably post it on here):

It was bad enough trying to find all yesterday's cup results to put on the forum - BBC.co.uk only had 3, and I knew about Arsenal from texts.

Then found those plus one more on BBC ceefax.

Then spotted results running along the bottom on SSNews - that made 7.

I discovered that the missing game was Cardiff v Donnie - I tried Cardiff's website, but it wasn't up to date, but fortunately, Donnie Belles' was, so got the lot.

What a palaver though Sad

There must be a better way of getting results.

Imagine if Man Utd v Arsenal's 5th round FA Cup game (men's, I mean) is missing from results list Laughing
