Seeing there's much about him to talk about I've created his own topic
Brazilian Media: Flamengo Attempt To Land Ronaldo Flamengo president Kleber Leite has told globoesporte.com that his club has just begun discussions with Ronaldo with a view to signing the striker... Ronaldo could be on the way to Brazilian outfit Flamengo, according to the club's president. The 31-year-old striker has yet to appear for AC Milan this season, and he is not set to remain at the club beyond June, when his new deal expires. Flamengo, then, may hope to snap him up in summer, or perhaps even earlier: a loan deal could be on the cards as the rossoneri prepare to include youngster Pato in their lineup. As such, Milan have allowed the player to talk to the club. Rubro-Negro president Kleber Leite remarked to globoesporte.com, "Flamengo have been authorised by AC Milan to start discussions with Ronaldo. "We've had preliminary conversations, noting that he wants to change the direction of his life." Brazilian team doctor Jose Luis Runco has intimated that a move could be good for the former Cruzeiro man. "I have a fine opinion on him," said the medic. "He needs to play, be it in Brazil or elsewhere." Leite concluded, "Both Ronaldo and ourselves are interested, and Runco's medical reports are encouraging." This the reply of Milan's management "Milan denies having started negotiations with Flamengo for Ronaldo's transfer," read a statement on Milan’s official website. |

Ronaldo Close To Return
Injury-plagued Milan star Ronaldo will return to training on January 2, according to his doctor Jose Luis Runco. The striker has had a nightmare first-half of the season due to injury, and has thus far played just one game for the Rossoneri. El Fenomeno has been in Brazil the last fortnight, receiving treatment from Selecao consultant Runco, who says a return is imminent. “He had a first grade calf strain, but now it is healed and we are in the final phase of physiotherapy,” noted Runco. “On January 2 he will be in Dubai to train alongside the other Milan players.” Milan travel to Dubai on Wednesday for a special winter-break training camp, as they aim to turn their poor domestic season around. The European and World Champions have yet to win at home in Serie A this campaign and currently languish in 12th position in the table, 25 points behind league-leading city rivals Inter. Milan’s next game is on January 13 when they host Napoli at San Siro in a match that Coach Carlo Ancelotti will be hoping to hand a debut to teenage wonderkid Alexandre Pato. |

I think a guy like Ronaldo, even he has been out with injuries a lot, still makes a difference being part of a team like Milan.... Being a mentor for Pato being just one reason..... (Quoted by Maldini on Ronaldos website)

Ronaldo is always deadly when plays! That's incredible he scored twice for the conditions he is at the moment, walking all over the pitch and giving assist to his team-mates and also scored twice. Strange performance but positive for sure by the brazilian
