In terms of challenging for the title race, can Liverpool be taken seriously?

What? Along with Everton's trophy cabinet? Very Happy

If Grant, Fergie or Wenger rule out Liverpool, it will be at their peril. We are only 4 points behind Chelsea with a game in hand, but no one is ruling them out.

The reality is, we have made it hard for ourselves yet again. We need to go on another run of winning games to show everyone that we are still in it. Loose to Pompey, and I think that will be that...

We drew at their ground so by the way you lot say you's are superior it should be an easy task at analfield...

Yeah but Pompey cant stop winning away at the moment...

Still, start Torres up front, and Distin and ole' Sol will be given a torrid time...

Best not to play our customary brand of attractive long-ball though - bread and butter for those two...

I dont see the big distress for 'Pool right now, honestly.

Considering the last 10 seasons, this seems business as usual, really.

Yes they spent a lot of money to add to the club this year, but the solid gold they did purchase
are still very young. I think we will leap frog from 4th to 5th and back and forth the whole season,
eventually pulling away to lock the 4th spot.

Champions League might be the only thing to keep or heart pumping loudly, but, im not disappointed
in the squad, I enjoy watching them grow, and get cut back, and grow and get cut back, on and on
until they find the winning seeds.

I think we've found a couple, but still, a few more could be put in the dirt (Silva? Mertesacker? Bridge?)

Football is a wheel, it keeps spinning and spinning, knocking the treads this way and that.
Liverpool is one of those treads, but they are also all weather treads, all ways, always.

Soar Liverbird Soar

As long as Benetiz is at Liverpool, the club will not even come close to challenge for the title.

Apart from that...everybody knows I'm not a fan of the manager but I love the club. With that said, it would be good(for me) if Liverpool are knocked out of the Champions League. This should hopefully knock some sense into the higher ups to get rid of this useless manager that is drunk with power(that being money and his excess supply of strikers).

BTW, Carragher has already confirmed that their chances are slim to none to challenge for the title.

No , i dont think Liverpool will win the league this season, but you can get 300/1 which is quite good odds
so maybe worth a pound or two Very Happy
