I don't recognise any of the players...who would have been the good picks in your opinion?

Honestly I don't know too many of them either. I only know a few names here or there.

Patrick Nyarko is a great striker. He lead Virginia Tech to their best record ever and to their first semifinal (where they lost to Wake Forest).

It was shocking to see Kansas City take Chance Myers (D) first, especially with the possibility of Eddie Johnson (S) leaving for Europe. The main consensus was that they would pick Patrick Nyarko (S) to replace Eddie, or even play alongside him.

how do I get into these drafts, I'd be a great goalkeeping addition to any team

You have to be invited to the combine.

You could always try to be a walk on. Occasionally they have open tryouts. I know the Galaxy did one a year or two ago.

yeah was planning on going but a lack of funds ruined that dream...I was only 15 at the time.
