I quite like the final whistle also...

As for Jumpers for Goalposts - we have all done it as kids, taken our jumpers off, and made goalposts out of them on a field so we can have a game!

I also just found the following:

Looks as though there is a Football Music Album out called the same thing...featuring the following:

Fat Les - Vindaloo
England & New Order - World In Motion
Collapsed Lung - Eat My Goal
The 5,6,7,8's - Woo Hoo
House Of Pain - Jump Around
Tony Christie - Amarillo
Dario G - Carnaval
The Pogues - Fiesta
The Ordinary Boys - Boys Will Be Boys
Hard-Fi - Living For The Weekend
James -Sit Down
Shed 7 - Going For Gold
The Jam - That's Entertainment
Jim Noir - My Patch
Status Quo - Rockin' All Over The World
Bell & Spurling - Golden Balls
Rider Fea. Terry Venables - England Crazy
Black Grape Feat. Keith Allen - England's Irie
The England Boys - Go England
Bell & Spurling - Sven Sven Sven
England Supporters Band - Great Escape Theme

These days you don't seem to see kids do it the same.
I know, as I'm usually cold when I'm out and look for a jumper put down by a kid to "borrow".
Needs to be a big kid though Laughing

Maybe not such a good idea then Rolling Eyes

Need quick replies.

I would have to say Jumpers 4 Goalposts.
I like the 4 in it as u would need 4 jumpers for both sets of goals.

im merely a plastic Moder-vater.

i would suggest the word 'for' is used definately.

if its to be a respectable newsletter then it has to have respectable spelling. otherwise me might as well call it 'Jumpaz 4 Gulposts, innit'

I personally think Jumpers 4 Goalposts would make a better Banner - as it is easier to work with for a logo.

Ill send both to the design guys, and see what they come up with

I think a description word will be much useful in this respect and I think football.co.uk monthly is a suitable title for that thought.
