0-0 HT. bit of a dull game really, nobody doing too much, both have had chances but not really one for the neutral so far.

Bluenose will have to eat his words about mocking the Chelsea fans who have been fantastic throughout, has bluenose even turned up? i cant hear a high pitched shrieking scouser at all....? take the Chelsea fans away and it would be quiter than a morgue

Is it me or can I here the Chelsea fans signing "In your Liverpool slums! you pick up a rat and you think it's a treat! in your Liverpool slums!" Laughing Have to laugh at that!!

Also I heard a call out to the Chelsea fans to sit down for their own safety!!

Poor support from Everton considering there's a final on the line!

Reading the build-up to the match and Bluenose getting all worked up whilst knowing it was 1-0 Chelsea with 5 minutes to go really did bring a smile to my face. Laughing

I did want them to win by the first leg but i think i came to my senses. As long as Tottenham stuff Chelsea i'll be pleased...

once again it will be an all London final. our great capital city leading the way.

credit also, must go to the Everton players who managed to lose the game and leave the pitch resisting the urge to headbutt each other. real professionalism to be able to do that. applause all round

Too bad Bluenose. I didn't want one of the Big 3 to go to the final. At least its not Liverpool. They used to call this the worthless cup but its worth a Uefa cup place now.

First of all i want to say well done Everton did well but we had too much in the end. On another day it would of been a different result.
Now we are in the final we can think about Spurs, lol will be a good game few more goals than normall just hope we batter them.

Tottenham always running

Everton had a few chances but once again Chelsea's defence was inpregnable, they're looking strong at the moment. Unlucky Everton, I guess it was a day out for the fans though.

Sorry Bluey but I have to be honest about this game.

Firstly, the Goodison Park support was an absolute joke!! Seriously, all I could hear was Chelsea fans doing all the singing, despite them only bringing less than 3000. For a Premiership club like Everton who had a great opportunity to reach a Wembley final, the supporters did the players no favours in being outsung for most of the match. As Steely said, take away the Blues fans and you would have heard a pin drop. Why was that Bluey? Nerves?

Secondly, and this is probably related to the quietness of the Toffee fans, Moyes screwed up his tactics spectacularly. Why did he start with 4-5-1??? It was such a negative move and lost Everton any chance had of seizing the early initiative. They were losing 2-1 from the 1st leg, so they needed a goal to get back into the tie. But instead of going at Chelsea from the off, Andrew Johnson looked so isolated it was unreal. He badly lacked support up front - he's not a target man at all. Look at the size of him compared to Alex, yet I remember several times Everton pumping the ball up to him only for the Brazilian to win the header easily.

I must give credit where credit is due: Chelsea were awesome. Efficient and in total control of the match. They knew when to raise the tempo, when to slow the play down - the pace of the game was at their mercy. Brilliant close control and finish from Joe Cole - that was world class.

At least Everton can put all of their energy into the league and UEFA Cup now. As for Chelsea, Grant has done brilliantly since Mourinho left. 21 wins from 29 I think, and only two defeats - away to Man U and Arsenal.

The Chelsea juggernaut bulldozes on.
