Alexi Lalas is a complete idiot. What kind of statement is this? "David is not someone we are grooming and looking to sell on." Laughing

The Galaxy don't even have the personal or quality in coaching to groom the local neighborhood team.

He's far too good to be playing in the MLS though.

Yes, Beckham is way too good for the MLS. His quality is miles ahead of the 'next best' player in the MLS.

I went to his debut game here in D.C. when they played D.C. United. It was amazing to see how much better he was than everyone on the pitch and especially his teammates. He was already thinking 3-4 plays in advance, while his teammates were still thinking about the current play.
