A tricky one for us...

We better not put out a side of youngsters - as much for their benefit as ours. They deserve to play some of our big players as Gerrard, Torres, Carragher, Mascherano etc. and if we put out a team full of youngsters i could see them finding a draw from somewhere. It is the FA Cup, after all.

Team:

--------------------------Torres--------------------------

--------------------------Babel---------------------------

----Leto-----Mascherano----Spearing-----Gerrard----

---Insua-----Carragher-------Skrtel-------Finnan-----

-------------------------Itandje--------------------------

Subs: Martin, Leiva, El Zhar, Nemeth, Crouch

I'll go with 4-1, Torres x3 and Nemeth the scorers.

I know, i don't think he will either. But it'd be a bit of an insult to Havant's hardwork to not put out some of the 'stars'. I doubt Rafa is thinking about that mind.

Personally, i don't see the point in resting players here. We need form now, not later on - this is an opportune time to instil a little confidence with a heavy win, so we'd do well to utilise it. If we were still in the title race i could understand it, but we're not.

The Luton win gave us a little boost as we saw versus Villa (ignoring the result, the performance was the best we've put out for a while)... and the last thing we want is another replay too. Which with our unpredictability i am not ruling out.

tricky game? draw? somehow i dont so tbh lol. ok Havant earned a draw and went on to beat swansea, but this is Liverpool we're talking about. i predict a very comfortable 3-0/4-0.

I'm not taking anything for granted. Wink

And Rafa being Rafa, we could see a team to the effect of:

--------------- Nemeth --- Pacheco -----------------

---- Leto ---- Spearing --- Plessis ----- El Zhar ---

---- Insua ---- Huth ----- San Jose ---- Darby ----

---------------------- Gulácsi ------------------------

Whilst it'd make the tie a little closer, i really hope we don't mess around. Technically there's a world of difference but with a weakened side and them playing uncharacteristically good (as Luton and other sides against big teams do) it could be closer than it should be.

With it being at Anfield though i reckon a comprehensive victory is in order.

I don't think Rafa will rest all the big guns. the fans won't be happy as they found out against Burnley a few years ago. At the end of the day, the fans are paying to go and watch the team and I'm sure the majority will want to see goals from some of their favourite players

Stephen Darby was released i'm pretty sure so you gotta take him outta your line up Sad

But no doubt he will play a reserve team...

Do you really think Rafa will play Jay Spearing Benjamin? I hope he does as he's an exciting young player and ive often wondered if he would make the grade at first team level. He's a pint-sized player but he makes up for that by getting himself about and he can score goals. Hopefully we'll see a few of the reserve players tomorrow. Now that Jack Hobbs has gone on loan to Scunthorpe it would be good to see Ronald Huth get his chance at centre-back.

To be honest i can't, but am hopeful nontheless.

I'd love to see a refreshing blend of our star players along with some very promising youth players, rather than a senior side but without the likes of Torres, Gerrard, Mascherano and perhaps Carra.

If i was to predict a side of Rafa's i'd go with...

--------------- Crouch ----- Torres -----------------

---- Babel --- Alonso ------ Leiva ---- Pennant ---

-- Aurelio --- Hyypia ------ Skrtel ---- Finnan ----

----------------------- Itandje -----------------------

For some reason i think Torres may start. Brought off at half-time though if we've developed a lead. I'd put money on him leaving out Mascherano though, as he tends to like to do against the 'lesser' teams. The Argentine, Gerrard and Carra on the bench though.

Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez looks shell-shocked on the touchline. No-one can quite believe what's happening - Havant & W fans are singing "We're going to Wembley."

That is classic, whatever happens they would have had the best day getting to sing that at Anfield.
