My name is Matthew Banks, I am a Sports and Exercise Science student at the University of Cumbria in Lancaster. I'm currently working on my dissertation project which is investigating the coach-athlete relationship. The research is conducted through use of an online questionnaire which any athlete from any sport can complete. The focus of the questionnaire is to gain the athlete's perspective on their coach and can be completed by anyone who has worked with or played for a coach at any level of performance.

I'm contacting you because I am seeking as many responses as possible. Hopefully you may be interested in this project and be able to help by completing a survey for me and forwarding the link to others. I’d be very grateful if you could complete the questionnaire and forward the link on to any possible contacts such as family, friends, and associates who have had a good level of sporting experience with a coach.
