Ha ha. Im assuming that you are referring to coaching in the pro game. Well im not going to repeat myself other than to say that for you to get to that stage without playing at that level is not impossible but in all honesty not very likely. Also i should point out that coaching upto and including semi professional is very much a part-time occupation so dont plan on earning enough to retire on through coaching. Read some of my posts and you will get a clearer picture of what im talking about. There are plenty of comments from others too.

Are you certain you'll 'complete' your badges then? Your Level 1 will not be a problem, but its completely possible to fail your Level 2. And your Level 3 is TOUGH to pass, your Level 4 is VERY tough indeed, and lots or pro's and ex pro's fail it. It's not a matter of going to all the sessions and picking up a badge. Also, badges mean nothing in management really. You need to man manage, organise, speculate, calculate, understand, consider and much more, best of luck. Smile

its not as simple as getting the badges and just getting a job in coaching.you will have to go looking for jobs unlike jobs coming for you

I've only just found this forum… and there is some interesting topics discussed.
But why do a lot of people automatically think that if you get the badges then you are going to be able to work in football full time and make an absolute packet. Football is an extremely hard environment to get into at the top level. Just concentrate on getting your awards and just work hard and enjoy it and see where it goes…

To get experience as you go you will need to volenteer your time to a local club. maybe join a local youth team as an assistant Manager or Coach.

Can't see you getting any paid position to get this initial experience which will represent the biggest learning curve you have ever encountered.

And, as others have said don't expect the Level 2 upwards to be easy.
