Greece take on the Czech Republic in an International friendly at Karaiskakis Stadium on the 5th of February.

Greece have won their last 4 games, 1 demolishing of Malta but the rest have been pretty close, whereas the C Rep. hav won their last 5 games quite convincingly.

Well im off to the field with ALF lol so ill let the rest of you decide the score.. me thinks it will be 2-1 to the Czech Republic.

Will this game have over time saying a draw doesn't seem possible?

NICOSIA, Feb 5 (Reuters) - Substitute Dimitrios Salpigidis' second-half strike gave Greece a 1-0 win over the Czech Republic in a friendly in Cyprus on Tuesday.

The Panathinaikos striker got on the end of a cross from Nicos Lymperopoulos and his low shot bounced off Czech goalkeeper Jaromir Blazek's legs into the net in the 78th minute.

In a slow-paced match, the first shot on goal came in the 25th minute when Lymperopoulos sent his long shot high.

The best chance for the Czech Republic came in the 30th minute when midfielder Lubos Kalouda crossed from the right to striker Martin Fenin, who only had the goalkeeper to beat but sent his shot wide.

The sides were meeting for the first time since Greece beat the Czech Republic in their Euro 2004 semi-final.

Not sure if Rosický or Matějovský played.

Rosicky didn't, but Matejovsky played for 15 minutes. Baros played for 10 minutes.

Greece are facing Finland tonight. The game just started.

Cyprus just drew 1-1 with the Ukraine. Cyprus opened the score in the first half with a penalty by Aloneftis (won by Makrides) and the Ukrainians equalised in the second half after our keeper failed to stop a powerful (but easy) shot by Milevsky.
