Slavia Prague an excellent draw for when you look at what it could of been.

Aberdeen awesome achievment to reach this stage but bayern munich, bye bye Aberdeen.

SK Brann for Everton. Should be an easy qualification

Bolton have Atletico Madrid very tough game could go either way, if the power and long ball tactics work for Bolton.

Rangers a tricky tie, good chance of winning.

Interesting draw, would like to see all the British teams progress, even Everton. Is always good for Britian when teams progress through European Cup competitions.

Not bad draws for the ENGLISH clubs , like to see Spurs do well, but i cant see anyone stopping BAYERN MUNICH, HEAD & SHOULDERS above the rest of the teams

Surprised Poor old Aberdeen, very tough game, along with Bolton.

I am relatively happy with draw considering what could have been - they'll all be difficult ties one way or another.

About the 2 Greek teams... i'm unhappy that Panathinaikos got Rangers and then (if we go through) probably Werder, while AEK got Getafe and then Benfica/Nurnberg.

We finished 2nd, they finished 3rd, but we have a more difficult draw, imo.

Bordeaux did well in the groups, but even if they go through against Anderlecht they'll have to meet Bayern. I predicted Bordeaux might do well this season with a bit of luck, but it seems they won't even make it to the quarters.

Everton will probably meet Fiorentina in the round of 16. Tough match.

The strange thing about the UEFA Cup is that the team which finishes 2nd in the group stage plays a Champs League standard club, whereas the team which finishes 3rd in the group stage plays a UEFA Cup standard club. Ah well.

I'm pleased with the draw and looking forward to the match - it's a shame we have to wait so bloody long! If we do beat Slavia then we'll probably have to face PSV which won't be an easy game but it'll do our players good to be tested. Character building and all that. Smile None of that 'free passage to the next round' nonsense that we experienced last year.

Everton should be fine but I don't fancy the chances of Bolton or Aberdeen. The Rangers match is a tough call, but I think that Panathinaikos may just have the edge.

We're going through our worst patch of the season right now. Some bad results against smaller teams and the way we lost in Madrid have caused some turmoil in the club. How long that will continue i don't know, but right now i'd have to call Rangers the favourites for this encounter.

rangers aren't setting the heather alight either, so that tie could be more about luck than skill....

If you can beat Atletico and Bayern then you'll be worthy winners...

It's quite competitive this year really.
