Real Madrid must start from scratch

Barcelona goalkeeper Victor Valdes believes Real Madrid must start from scratch under new coach Lopez Caro.

"A new trainer usually brings new things and the situation is not easy," said Valdes. "Whenever a team does not produce the right performances and results, the trainer is always sacked."

Valdes insisted Barca did not take any pleasure in seeing Vanderlei Luxemburgo dismissed.

"We work hard to win - that is all. We do not play to cause harm or aggravate other clubs."

i reckon they do need a new centre back like Lucio and a new right winger like Joaquin

Real definately need a clearout and i think it will start in January with the departure of Gravesen, and more will soon follow.

They should call Portillo back from his loan spell at Club Brugge, hes quick, great technique and powerful.

I like Soldado more than him.

Personally i dont see much changeing apart from the coach. They will carry on like now for a while yet before they get a big wake up call sometime in the next few years.
