Gael Clichy (hamstring) and Bacary Sagna (personal reasons) are highly likely to miss out while Philippe Senderos (thigh/knee) can be considered doubtful.

We'll lose some rhythm in the backline and both Sagna and Clichy were key starters for us, so that's a big loss. However Touré and Eboué return and I think they'll be fine fitness wise, Touré might be a little sluggish but it doesn't take the guy long getting back into the rhythm.

And credit to Senderos, he has stepped into Touré's gap and has been brilliant. You can't say that's down to Gallas as well, he's not been at his best - just look at the Spurs game when Senderos wasn't available.

Anyway, like twmcat I'm not hugely fussed. I'd rather see a few players get a rest for the AC Milan game as the European Cup and the Premiership are key. We don't want to disrespect the F.A Cup, but it is a cup and if you weigh it up with the Champions League, there's no competition simply because it's tougher and we've never won it.

I look forward to the game though. Both sides have undoubtedly been the best football sides in the Country this season and the table, goal stats and performances have shown that. The more I look at it the more I see a Man Utd win unfortunately. But as long as we put in a good shift and don't let ourselves down.

Personally, I'd rather save our best team for the game against Milan next week.

Although I always like us to win the FA Cup, I felt it dropped to around Carling Cup level when Man Utd didn't defend their Cup title in 1999-2000.

I'm not blaming Utd, but they were pressurised by the FA to go to that stupid tournament in Brazil, and allowed to drop out of the FA Cup.

I'm sure they would have liked to try and hold on to the trophy - and maybe repeat their treble - but they didn't get the chance and it wasn't the same for the teams that would have liked to win the trophy.

Would the Prem count much this season if Man Utd, as holders, were not in it?

Are you on a anti Utd spree at the mo Twm Laughing

So when me and Smoggie wind you up on Saturday after are win it wont mean that much then Wink

Arsenal 'might' be missing Adebayor aswell but will travel

Also flamini senderos clichy have muscle problems but will travel.

I think it all depends on thier fitness.

If Clichy does play then Ronaldo won't be as much of a threat.
Also Flamini in the middle of the park does wonders.
and adebayor has been the best player in the league this season.

If they don't play then i can only see it going one way

All these injuries. I see Wenger resting most of them for AC Milan on Wednesday.

I don't know who i want to win this. I'd rather Arsenal went through knocking United out of the competition in the process, for the sheer fact that i don't want the Mancs to win the tournament, but then if i had to choose between which of the two i'd rather be drawn against, i'd probably say Manchester United. Confused

Nah i'll be cheering on Arsenal...

I have a suspicion that they won't win it mind. Edged out in a close 2-0.

Damn - i was right!

Let's be honest, Arsenal have no chance... not now Wenger's decided to rest his entire first-team and half his reserves.

Am i right in thinking that the majority of Almunia, Sagna, Clichy, Flamini, Rosicky, Adebayor, Senderos, Djourou, Van Persie, Diaby, Denilson, Walcott, Song and Senderos will have miraculously healed come Wednesday night?

What's the point in this competition again? I know if Wenger has to choose he'd always prioritise the Champions League (as would i), but it's just getting stupid now. You can't pretend 3/4 of your squad is injured for what is potentially the tie of the whole competition, let alone round.

I think 5 of those injured will be back for the CL, Wenger should have taken some reserves player as well instead of half fit players.

Should be:

--------------VDS

Brown---Rio---Vidic---Evra

------Scholes---Carrick

Ronaldo----------------Giggs

--------Rooney
--------------------Teveth

subs: PIG, O'Shea, Hargreaves, Anderson, Saha

No room for Park or Nani, that's testament to how strong the squad is right now.

It's set up for a very interesting affair.

I'll say 2-1 to Manchester United.

I was thinking this was a league match. So, Wenger resting most players?
I still say Arsenal, but not too confident about it now.

Last minute winner. 2-3 to Arsenal, 1st goal on 15 minutes.

A dodgy offside that Wenger sees and comments on at the end of the match. Very Happy Wink

Gallas slams 'arrogant' United

Arsenal captain William Gallas has launched a scathing attack on Sir Alex Ferguson's Manchester United, labelling them 'too arrogant'.

The France international believes United's overconfidence may cost them dear come the end of the season.

And Gallas is sure that The Gunners, who currently hold a five-point advantage over The Red Devils at the summit of the Premier League table, can take advantage of their complacency and be crowned champions this season.

"They are a strong team with lots of experienced players. But, sometimes, they think they're too good. Too arrogant, yes," he told GQ magazine.

Ronaldo

"It can make you complacent. We understand that problem. We know we have to score goals, be strong in defence and kill teams in the first half.

"Our squad can win things. And I know that it will be difficult for Manchester United to win."

Gallas' comments are sure to add further ferocity to what promises to be a competitive FA Cup fifth round tie at Old Trafford on Saturday.

The 30-year-old defender went on to shrug off plaudits directed towards United winger Cristiano Ronaldo, insisting that he is not that tough to play against.

"It was not easy against him but it was not that difficult either," he concluded.

What Gallas want to by criticizing United squad and Ronaldo. If he is thinking to play mind games then i would say better he should concentrate on match and play the game to play mind games we have our managers to play mind games.

I think United should win that one with their strongest side against Arsenal strongest available 11.
However if United rotate some player to prepare their CL game against OL I see an Arsenal win.

I will be surprised if Fergie puts a stronger team like EPL.

The team that i will choose for Todays fixture willbe

----------------- 29 Tomasz Kuszczak --------------------

---25 Danny Simpson--- 15 Vidic -- 5 Ferdinand --- 3 Evra

-- 17 Nani ------ 4 Hargreves --- 8 Anderson ------ 11 Giggs

------------32 Tevez -------------10 Rooney--------------

Subs :
Welback
Pique
Heaton
Carrick
Saha

Subs that I will use will be Pique in for Vidic, Carrick in for Anderson, Saha in for Tevez

No place for Ronaldo and Brown in starting 16. I want Ronaldo and Brown take rest for UCL fixtures against Ajax as they will be key for that match. Ronaldo will be trump card for UCL match so he needs rest.

United to win if they play their strongest and Arsenal if United rest major players.
