Sevilla wing-back Daniel Alves has reportedly told the press that he is desperate to leave the La Liga club in search of a new challenge.

The 24-year-old is a reported target for Real Madrid, Barcelona and Chelsea and the Brazil international is seemingly intent on exiting the Sanchez Pizjuan as soon as is possible.

He told the Daily Star: "I want to leave Sevilla by the nearest exit. I believe I deserve it.

"I don't want to leave the club, to which I owe everything, on a bad note.

"I want to play for one of those clubs that can influence your career and your life, where you have to earn the interest of the manager and have a good income.

"I want to improve as a professional and as a person."

In other words he wants da moneyz.

Chelsea will probably be in for him again in the summer, they came pretty close to signing him last time and they'd probably be the favourites to get him.

So, he doesn't want to leave on a bad note? Yet says that whilst mentioning how he wants to leave as soon as he bloody can, that he deserves to get out of the club, and that he wants to go to a club that are in other words 'big' (unlike Sevilla)? Yeah, nice going.

To be honest, i've always found him to be overrated and would never dream of paying the £20m-£30m he's rumoured to be priced at. What a waste of money.

I don't know where we would be without the hard hitting, on the pulse, inspirational journalism from the Daily Star.......

I'd be pretty p!ssed off with him if I was a Sevilla fan right now. Money, money, money thats all players think of nowadays. I wouldnt mind having him at United tho. Him on one side & Evra & the other.

I dont think its necessarily all about money, I think he realises he is good enough to be first choice for a team that can achieve so much more than Sevilla can without Ramos Razz (you knew it was coming, and Curbishley is good too)

If he can move to a clu that can challenge for their league and the CL etc you cant blame him.

Sevilla finish 3rd in the league last season & still had a chance to win it until the last day of the season & there in the last 16 of the CL. So yes you can blame him.

They would have done it without Ramos. And no need for the racism.

A hell of a lot of players say its their 'dream' to play for the club they are linked with or eventually join. It's nothing unique to him or Hargreaves.

fair enough and yes you were right, Doubt Tevez and Mascherano wanted to join West Ham, but i think Ben is right sort of, the top players can organize moves to teams that they want to move to. But players os less importance cant always do that. Take Downing for example hes a Spurs fan and wanted to join us but couldnt get the ball rolling and now no one wants him apart from boro.

Out of those three clubs mentioned, Chelsea would have to be the favourites. They've been after a good RB for the last 2 seasons now and will probably outbid Real Madrid and Barca because of this. Besides R.Mad has Sergio Ramos and Barca has Zambrotta...

Is very probable that Zambrotta leaves Barça and signs for Milan.
