4-0, 5-1.
5-1, 4-0.
4-0, 5-1, 5-1, 4-0.
5-1, 4-0, 5-1, 4-0, 4-0, 5-1, 5-1.

I just can't decide which one sounds nicer Very Happy

Dear deary me, the immortals are, well, pants quite frankly.

Just a few points I'd like to highlight:

1. Rooney - love him or hate him, United aren't the same side without him in my opinion.
2. Arsenal's pentulance - Gallas, Eboue - an embarrasment to football in general.
3. Adebayor - I am delighted he was booked for that blatant dive - it was that far fetched he should have seen red.
4. Nani - United were well out of reach when he started showboating...and f*ck me it was a joy to watch, he made the chasing pack look like complete imbeciles.
I was actually quite disappointed with Fergie's reaction that he shouldn't do that kind of thing...would he have said the same if it was Ronaldo?

We didn't want to win that game. That was evident from every minute from start to finish.

It was played in a disappointing fashion. Very uncharacteristic of the Arsenal. We very, very, very rarely get outplayed under Wenger. We had a terrible night and made Man Utd look great.

Nothing more can be said than that. We were deservedly beat and it should have been more than four. Well played the Mancs, but I'm personally happy we don't have to face any replays or further games. With a bench full of crocks and a treatment room full of patients, we are happy to have one less game to deal with and can now concentrate on Milan and the upcoming Premiership fixtures. It's very strange to lose to United in that fashion and not be bothered really.

Although it was terrible in the way we lost the game. Losing goals to some blatantly simple play and never reacting. Wenger happily shook Ferguson's hand at the end, and the Arsenal fans didn't look too bothered either.

We'll get revenge in the League anyway. Smile

Can I just say also that apart from some Man Utd play in the raping of Arsenal, the FA Cup football this weekend has been utter tripe.

Tactically clueless and some woeful football teams slugging it out on dreadful pitches in terribly boring games. Although it's nice to see the weaker teams from lower Leagues progress and do well, there's no romance in the Cup whatsoever.

then why bothered to play adebayor and flamini in the second half?.. -.-

i can't help thinking.. just incase you lose to milan by chance.. would you come up with another words like.. it's even now better to have lesser games to concentrate in the league?.. lol..

it's more like he shook fergie's hand without eye contact with his sour face..

I suggest you ask Barnsley fans or Havant And Waterlooville fans whether they think the romance has gone from the FA Cup. If anything, this season has seen some romance actually brought back into the cup.

If we wanted to win the game, we would have played like we wanted to win it.

We didn't turn up. Our Defence slouched and took a lazy approach. When we attacked, Cesc and Gilberto sat on the half-way line. When your players attacked, our Defence backed off and our Midfield literally jogged after them.

We made Man United look great and we played like we didn't want to win the game. It was highly evident before Man Utd even first hit the target. I think we took a lazy approach and there was no care or reaction to the football. When Man Utd started taking the [beep!], some players got [beep!] off, of course. Adebayor, Flamini and Senderos came on to try and restore some pride in a 10-man team and noticeably Man Utd didn't score thereafter.

If we went through or got a draw, we'd have an extra game that we really can't afford. If you honestly believe Man Utd's team are that much better than that Arsenal side then you are deluded. We went out in a lazy fashion, showed no urgency or ambition in any part of the game and backed out of too many tackles. Some of the play was in poor fashion though and it's disappointing in that sense, but it was clear with the performances of every single player on the pitch that we didn't have the same ambitions as Man Utd. Whether we wanted to lose or not I don't know - that's a question for Wenger to answer, but I can say that we played 100% like we wanted to lose and wanted to save players from injury or fatigue.

Take nothing away from Man Utd, they deserved it. They were miles better. But when we show ambition to win, no team on the planet outplays us like that.

To try and restore a little pride of course and to rest the key players who were on the pitch.

Lol - remarkable...
And regarding United not scoring after Adebayor, Flamini and Senderos coming on, you have your keeper to thank for that. They made absolutely no difference to the game at all - they still got outplayed, and ripped apart at the back. It was our poor finishing to blame for not adding even more! Saha had a cracking chance to make it 5 but hit is straight at Lehmann.

They didn't get a chance because they were outclassed and outplayed from start to finish.
