19:00 Real Betis v Real Madrid La Liga (1-3)

21:00 Zaragoza v Barcelona La Liga (1-2)

I dont think Barcelona can afford to slip up again in la liga again or else they points difference may end up rather embarassing.

Betis 1-1 Real Madrid
Zaragoza 1-0 Barcelona

Will be tough for both Madrid and Barcelona in my opinion

So Betis just did us a favour. They beat Real Madrid 2-1, after a nice comeback.

Henry just opened the score for Barca. We desperately need the 3 points here so i hope we can score another one before half-time.

Oliveira just won a penalty from Marquez and Milito sent it way over the post!!! haha

Hope we take advantage of this good luck!

EDIT: Oliveira scored a goal and won a penalty, but his efforts weren't enough to grab a point for Zaragoza, thanks to Ronaldinho who made it 1-2 only 7 minutes before time.

It's down to 5 now, between Real and us. Dare we hope?

The race is back again in my opinion. I think Barca will win it if they can stay injury free. Sevilla also getting closer to the Champions League places with an impressive 4-2 away win against Espanyol.

Too early, another weekend like this, I will start believing again. Still 5 pts gap.

I agree. I'll wait for it to go down to 3 before getting my hopes up.

Next week we play Almeria, who have been surprisingly good this season, while Real have to face Schuster's former team, Getafe. I think both Barca and Real will get 3 points from these games, cause they play at home. But you never know...

Unfortunately, the week after next we have to play at Atletico Madrid while Real has a far easier task at Recreativo Huelva.

Isn't against Almeria is against Levante, that is the worst team in La Liga.

My bad. For some reason i read Almeria instead of Levante. I feel better now. Hopefully, Getafe can help us close the gap by grabbing a point at the Bernabeu.

Did anyone watch the game between Zaragoza and Barcelona? What a joke!
None of the 2 Barcelona goals were legal Evil or Very Mad
Anyway you guys don't play good enough to lead La Liga...

First goal was legal and the penalty could go both ways. You can say that we were very lucky, that I will agree with you. If Diego Milito had bury his chance and the penalty, we would have lost.
We are looking more like the Real of last season. You did not deserve the Ligua but won't it by dodgy penalties given in the dying minutes.

Afrinux you know Henry controls the ball with his arm, everybody's saying that...
But it's okay, I'm not blaming Barcelona for this victory, I'm just saying that spanish referees are awful.
