Can European giants Everton make it an amazing SEVEN, yes SEVEN european wins on the bounce to grab a final sixteen place in the UEFA cup?

Everton 3 - 0 SK Brann (agg 5 - 0)

Or will SK Brann pull off a shock win (does the pope sh|t in the woods?)

I've never heard of them. Are they the inspiration behind the name of that crowd you support by any chance Confused

Brann were poor for the majority in Norway, yet they did offer some threat when they could get the ball on the floor. I fancy them to get one at Goodison but Everton to sail through to the next round setting up a tasty tie with Fiorentina, a game i believe that will really test Everton's credentials.

You'll be looking forward to that one no doubt Bluey mate!

Why are Channel 5 showing this match?

Everton are through, yet Bolton have to travel to Madrid and face Atletico, in order to retain their 1-0 lead. Surely that's far more interesting?

We're not through! We've entertained in all of our Euro games so far, maybe the last one not as much but they have been good... Plus we could get our SEVENTH UEFA cup win on the trot if we do win. Well done channel five (even though he bugs me the way he talks) Wink

From OS...

"SK Brann coach Mons Ivar Mjelde has claimed his side need a 'miracle' to progress in the Uefa Cup.

The Norwegians trail Everton 2-0 from the first leg in Norway.

Whether Mjelde is indulging in mind games remains to be seen, but he has been keen to play down the chances of his side agead of the Goodison clash on Thursday.

“We need a miracle of a lifetime,” he said. “To believe in qualifying is pointless.

“We’ll start at 0-0 and try to get the best possible result.

“If we start with the hope that we can make it, it might end very badly.

“You don’t learn a lot by losing 5-0 at Goodison Park. The goal is to play well there.”

Mjelde said he took heart from his belief that Brann weren't out played by the Toffees last week.

“We were not outplayed at all," he stated. "During some periods, we put them under pressure at times and the goals came after marginal events.

“Against Hamburg (in the Uefa Cup group stage), we were outplayed at times and felt that we were chanceless.

“Against Everton we coped until little while into the second half. Result-wise we deserved better."

We need to just get in there and get an early goal... Game over!

The Man is correct, they need to score at least twice without reply to take it to extra time.

Form OS...

"David Moyes has a fully fit squad to choose from ahead of the second leg with SK Brann with the exception of Anthony Gardner.

The loan signing is ineligible after playing in the Uefa Cup for Tottenham earlier this season.

Mikel Arteta is back after overcoming a groin injury, which kept the midfielder out of the 2-0 first leg win in Bergen.

Steve Pienaar is recalled to the squad after suffering an ankle problem whilst on African Cup of Nations duty with South Africa

And Thomas Gravesen makes a welcome return following a knee injury sustained in January.

Moyes told Evertonfc.com: “I have a healthy squad apart from Anthony Gardner.

“This is only the second time this season the squad has all been fit.”

Everton squad: Howard, Wessels, Hibbert, Neville, Lescott, Yobo, Jagielka, Baines, Valente, Carsley, Osman, vd Meyde, Arteta, Pienaar, Gravesen, Cahill, Fernandes, Yakubu, Vaughan, Johnson, Anichebe
"

Since when has Channel 5 been a single person? Laughing

But seriously, aye you've been quite refreshing in all admittance this year. But you're through; end of. Atletico are the best team in Spain aside from Barca and Real Madrid, so Bolton's task is a huge one. It should have been shown somewhere.

Still, back to the game i suppose...

Braan were pretty good in the first half of the first leg over in Norway, but they struggled to create from their possession. I can't see them winning at Goodison.

I'll go with 1-0 Everton.
