The Super League has now started.. into round 3 now i think.

Latest headlines have been the blockbuster match in round 3.. Bradford vs St Helens which the Saints took out the win at Grattan Stadium with the return of their star Paul Sculthorpe.

Any Super League fans out there?! come along and share ur passions and views about the English Competition.

I bumped into James Graham last night after the game against the Bulls . He was shopping in Asda , I'd been working so I'd missed the result , and he was able to fill me in on the details .

He had what looked to be the start of a cracking black eye and said he was tired Laughing

Laughing Laughing Laughing

I'm one of the night managers in Asda , and he comes in quite a lot . He's usually dressed in baggy jeans and a baggy sweatshirt , so he doesn't look that big . I thiught he'd appear massive up close , but he just looks like a normal bloke .

Anyway , back to Super League , although I hate that name , just as I hate all the new nicknames .

Very pleased with the Saints' win at Bradford . It might be what we need to put us back on track after the Grand Final loss , and then the loss on the opening day of this season .

I'm sure we'll make the play offs , but in order to get to Old Trafford again , I think we'll need home advantage , so it's imperative that we finish in the top 2 .

Leeds look strong again ; I'm sure Bradford will be up there .........just hope the f***ing Pie Eaters get relegated . Laughing

Unfortunately it looks as though my team are gonna get the wooden spoon this season, but luckily there's no relegation this season so we can get used to this season and rebuild for next year Smile

Because i remember the day when Castleford were a sorta decentish team. Now there just pretty embarrasing to be honest

Wrong .

Union used to be a great game when there was a contest for possession at all times . Now the lineouts are largely uncontested ; rucks and mauls are virtually non existent , with players taking the ball into contact and recycling without an opponent's hand in sight . The Southern Hemisphere teams are trying to outlaw scrummaging , when was the last time you saw a strike against the head ?

Without the forward battle for possession Union has become a slower version of League .

True, very true. Its become a slow game, needs some rules changing around to bring back the fast pace it used to have. Attacking rugby

So why make this thread and keep updating it if you only like international Rugby?

Is it just some kind of novelty Bradford thing?
