For a club that has a capacity of 14 thousand and where the club have been for many years they seem to be doing very well in the last 3-4 years.

After their last result i certainly wish them all the best! lol

I watched them beat AEK in the UEFA Cup last week. Not a great performance against a weakened AEK (who had just sacked their manager), but 3-0 was still a pretty convincing result. Now they have to face Benfica and i'll be surprised if they are the ones to progress, but you never know. No-one expected them to beat Real in the Bernabeu yet they did just that.

They must be a really well run club, considering their finances, the size of their stadium etc theyve done an amazing job to get where they are. They lost Schuster during the Summer but it doesnt seem to have affected them at all

one of the main reasons you signed Schuster

also, we were pretty bad last season, Getafe were better than they are now and it was an away game in the cup. a game the players made the mistake of taking for granted, after the 5-2 in the first leg. i'm not gonna say 4-0 is not an embarrassing result though. it would have been embarrassing against any team in the league, not just Getafe.

I have seen only one match of them, they play well but i don't think they are regular. I put them as the favourite of Uefa cup with Leverkussen.

You put Getafe over teams like Bayern Munich, Bremen, Tottenham, Everton, Hamburg and Fiorentina for the UEFA Cup?!

personally i don't think they'll qualify over Benfica cause they lack their European experience

i also think Leverkusen will fail to qualify over Hamburg

Getafe have a good game but they don't do it all the match, before their match against Real i've put Getafe winning against Benfica but i can be wrong. If i put one team more to Getafe and Leverkussen, it will be Tottenham because they are already qualified for Uefa cup the next season so to win this Uefa cup can be a priority now.

And Barsa gained a draw against Valencia thanks to a hand of Eto'o in the 93rd minute. So typical...

They're playing some good football lately.
They beat Murcia 0-3 away so easily in the last game in La Liga.

Well run finances and a lot of smart buys. Not unlike Villarreal really.

Getafe, how could anyone hate that club?
They have played extremely well this season and am I right that Ruben De La Red was the first Getafe player ever called to Spanish national team? It's a shame that he didn't make it to the pitch but that was just stupidness of Aragones. I hope they will win Bayern and go trough to the final of the UEFA cup.

Looks like Laudrup will be in big demand at the end of the season. Wouldnt be surprised if real or Barca wanted him
