Good choice. I'm surprised it lasted this long before someone picked them.

On that note. 2 spots left.

People who don't follow MLS probably didn't realise the strength's and weakness's of most these teams, I think thats why its taken us a bit to get started.

Yeah, I'll be positing up a 'cliff notes' thread soon so each person has a little idea of what their team is like. But as a whole the MLS is pretty even top to bottom. One player can make the difference in the team being good or bad.

Red Bull when they got Angel became probably one of the deadliest teams in the league Laughing

But he got injured, and they died out. He came back, and the team as a whole still wasn't too good.

D.C. United 55
Chivas USA 53
Houston 52
New England 50
FC Dallas 44
New York 43
Chicago 40
Kansas City 40
Columbus 37
Colorado 35
Los Angeles 34
Real Salt Lake 27
Toronto FC 25

Keep in mind, DC United and Chivas USA lost in the first round of the playoffs to Chicago and Kansas City (two legged matchup, so it wasn't like a fluke goal won it for them)

Yeah I know. Geez Los Angeles was poor. What were Donovan and Pavon doing all season? They're meant to be powerful forwards..

Donovan played as a winger from the matches I saw. Then Beckham came and everyone on the squad were shell shocked. Then Beckham got hurt and was out for like a month an a half or so, and the Galaxy finished off strong.

I think they all were a bit worried by all the publicity - nothing like that had ever happened in America, never mind MLS...

They weren't used to accurate passes.

And their vision of the game was 2-3 steps behind Beckham's.
