No offence, but an open-top bus parading through the streets showing off the Carling Cup would be a bit embarassing to be honest

Drogba is so self obsessed that he has to add his two pence worth. There was no need for him to get involved but so glad he did! He is a busy body, and so stupid as he is wasting his own teams time! what a mug! Laughing Like Tanio's reaction to the Chelsea players though, rubbing it in nicely!

but why though ...is the trophy not worth celebrating ...i mean if it were Arsenal , Man Utd , Liverpool or Chelsea i could understand it . But this is the first major trophy in 9 yrs for Spurs ..

If it were Wigan or Middlesbrough who had won would anyone be questioning them for parading the trophy ..

Did Chelsea parade the Carling Cup last year .. ?

Right, I've changed my mind: I agree with Jono that the players shouldn't be out showing off the League Cup prior to the PSV game - do it before a league match (preferably before the West Ham match, just to rub it in with their bitter fans Wink ). Although I don't think it would affect the player's performances, Jono is right that before a massive game like that, every minute up to kick off should be spent focussing on the opposition.

I personally don't have a problem with the open top bus parade. Sure, other fans might laugh at us, but who cares what they think? Fcuk 'em! If it keeps the feel good factor going around the club and the fans then that's all I care about and it would be a nice touch to end a very transitional - and already succcessful - season for us.

theres the bait!

as you well know i have conducted myself with dignity in this thread. i have been nothing but complimentary, as far removed from 'bitter' as possible. i have congratulated Spurs on their win and have zero problem with you winning the carling cup at all. i dont know a single West Ham fan that really does care. it was a win win for us, either you or Chelsea would lose and thats good enough for us

Cool

i have pointed out before my dislike for that site, it is frequented, generally, by absolute losers, many of whom are merely sheep going along with the cliquey view of the mainstream members. precisely why i am a member on here and not on there. from what i could make of it there was only one or two blokes moaning about it and it was more to do with the shameless gloating rather than the actual victory!

people like that make me embarassed to be a West Ham fan and sadly a large percentage on that site are of that ilk.

Fair play to you Steeks, some of that makes pretty cringeworthy reading.

I wasn’t directing that at you personally Steely - just at West Ham fans in general, most of whom I know, hate Spurs with a passion.

What a player Tainio is for Spurs.

His contribution to the Spurs and their game is really unknown. If you ask me the unsung hero in EPL then my answer will be Tainio.
