I'll have to say its to early to predict.

Bayern are gonna be hard to beat.
Chelsea have the team to win but they I think will go out next round.
Liverpool are class and could very well retain.
Juventus favourites too.
Real are going out next round.
Arsenal are going out next round.

I've used this quote before, but Cruyff has said it doesn't matter how you're playing in November and December, it's how you're playing in April and May that counts.......still to early, I hope they do, but a lot can happen between now and the seasons end...

Yes.

THey are the best team in their league and can score numerous goals every week so will beat most teams in their league. THey dont need to be perfect cos noone else will stay up at the top with them.

Steven2005, sorry I should have clarified the league. I was talking about the Spain League.
For me, as I thought it'd be a piece of cake bcuz their main rival(Real) is no longer a threat.
And other, as B.J stated above.

Oh sorry...Yeah Barcelona are clear winners this year. Real Madrid have totally lost the plot I think mainly because of the number of "superstars" in there team. It takes something special for a team to gel together and Real Madrid aint got that.

I think Barįa will win la Liga again because still that they don't play so well like now they are very much better than the other teams. And this season we have more players than last season.

Barca have proved already that they are far stronger than any other competition in La Liga this season, the only problem could be when they are playing in the Champions League because they will reach the latter stages, so this could affect league form.

That's not true. You can't say Barcelona is the best this season because Osasuna are also in the first position. Don't dismiss everybody, please.

I wasn't trying to be rude, sorry.
I only said that because you said there were "proves" of it. Nothing more. Confused

Barca have the best squad, the best coach, and are playing the best football. It would be a major upset if they didnt win the title.

Sorry Raul, but Real need to make changes, and soon!!

I know. But it's an opinion, you can't say it's proved that Barcelona are the best only for an opinion. Proves are results, and Osasuna are in the same position as them.

Ok then Barca and Osasuna are proven to be the greatest in the league so far this season. And that 3-0 THUMPING of Real really did show the difference in class - so when you say "Proves are results" then that is the biggest proof you would need eh Wink

yeah they will Real madrid have fallen off big time and the likes of Osasuna dont have enough quality to win it unlike Barca who have the likes of Messi,Etoo and Ronaldhino as their main attackers plus with Ezquerro and Larsson in back up,they will be scoring plenty and in defence Puyol keeps them together well

You are still comparing Barcelona with Real Madrid while I'm comparing Barcelona with Osasuna! And about that 3-0 of Barcelona to Real Madrid... last year we beat them scoring 4 goals and no one said anything against barcelona.

Well you know the La Liga better than any of us, so if you realistically think that Osasuna will be in the same position as Barcelona come the end of the season thats fine. Laughing

No, no one believes that. I'm talking about nowadays. You can't dismiss Osasuna just because Barcelona has a better name. At the end of the season probably Osasuna is not being in the top, but maybe Barcelona is not winning La Liga.

Well if Osasuna aren't going to finish top like you said, who else is going to be able to challange Barcelona. The only team that has the quality to challange them is Real Madrid and they are doing very badly at the moment, so its only logical too think that Barcelona will be retaining their La Liga crown.

Real Madrid and Barcelona are not the only top temams in La Liga. Of course I think Real Madrid could be in the top, but I also like Celta de Vigo (has some amazing players), and Valencia (Aimar and Villa are starting to connect).

These teams are not consistant enough though, i mean Celta Vigo will be one season wonders like Real Sociedad were. Valencia could possibly do something but i doubt it, they dont look as strong as Barcelona.

In Spain, you can never say that a team is going to win something. An example is Villarreal last season, they were the 15th at 13 match, and they are now playing Champions League. Here the worst team can win your team. Between UEFA and the teams which will play in Second division are 10 points of difference only. Now Barcelona plays better, bu nobody knows what will happen at the end. Maybe Atletico wins. I hope that, but .....

Too easy for Barcelona, things have to change too much to reverse the situation. I donīt think theyīd consider that the season is a success if they win the league but donīt go far on the Champions League. Barsa didnīt play good in the last games (villareal, celta and sevilla), but won the games the same. Theyīre a robust team even when they donīt play good.

Will Barcelona be champion again this year?
