Niners were supposed to pick 7th, but they traded that to the New England Patriots of all teams, and now SF is stuck with pick 29 which they acquired from the Indianapolis Colts. 49ers are looking at getting Quentin Groves from Auburn. I've not seen much of him, but he looks like a solid defensive end who will probably get a starting spot with the Niners anyway.

Seattle Seahawks may be releasing Shaun Alexander soon as they have signed 2 other star running-backs. How the mighty have fallen. Only 2 years ago, Alexander was the MVP.
