Celtic boss Strachan: Nakamura just fantastic |
|
Celtic boss Gordon Strachan described Japanese star Shunsuke Nakamura as "fantastic" after yesterday's 3-2 defeat of Hibs.
"He is fantastic. Despite the number of kicks he takes, he is prepared to take the ball again and comes up with plenty of assists," said Strachan. "He takes them and starts our counter attacks. He is very brave and intelligent." Two-goal hero John Hartson emerged the match winner but the way in which Hibernian surged ahead after the interval gave Strachan plenty to contemplate. The Welshman started and finished the scoring after Guillaume Beuzelin and Stephen Fletcher had stunned Celtic, who hauled themselves back level through Shaun Maloney. Strachan moaned: "It was entertaining for people who came to watch the game but for the coaches it will be a restless night. "I am not annoyed - just delighted to have won the game. "We conceded from a set play and I don't like losing goals from them so we have to look at that. I wasn't happy with the second one as well. "But there was some great stuff and it was a great game as I predicted. There were a lot of Scottish kids played their part in a great game of football." |

The Scottish Game has really helped him improve his physical side, I think he will be a revelation at the World Cup, IF, Japan can overcome Croatia. I can see them doing Australia.
