It's a bit sad that I've had to rely on other results to make my footballing weekend feel a bit better, but oh it feels so damn good.

Thanks Brucie!!

lol..

i missed the first half as i clicked on the wrong channel which's showing Spurs v hammers match.. no wonder i was waiting like forever.. rofl..

the pitch's so awful that the ball could hardly roll properly.. but wigan seemed to deal with it very well.. hope they fix the pitch before playing against us.. the lastest match of this season..

it's good to see persie back in the team.. although his performance can't be considered good enough yet..

well.. dropping points isn't good for Gunners but great for us.. as we shall try to take over the top this coming weekend.. XD

Another average Arsenal Premiership performance. This was so boring I fell asleep during the middle of it.

Three words spring to mind when assessing their last 3 results: Squeaky. Bum. Time.

Not a great performance but still we haven't lost. I thought the players also looked a little tired and I don't think this game helped with that. Wigan battled well and kept pushing for a goal even in the last few minutes which was refreshing to see rather than teams shutting up shop. They showed a good attitude and derseved the point.

The pitch was awful and impossible to play on. The first half alone the ball was just boncing everywhere!! shocking for a prem team.

I still believe the title is going to be decided with matches against Man U and Chelsea. These games will have a massive baring on the title race. I still think we can do it!......

We played poorly, yet remained unbeaten and got a very important point that sees us 2 points clear. The pitch was terrible and we had players missing with a reshuffle of the Midfield and a Striker partnership that has yet to ever work, nevermind their relationship.

I'm happy enough with the point.

This time last season we were battling to keep 4th. Now we're the hardest team to beat in the League, sit top and just introduced back two of our 3 best players in the squad for the late run in.

Who's the other? I know one's obviously Van Persie...

Don't forget Liverpool. They play United in a couple weeks. If they happen to beat them and then lose to Arsenal. That would be vital.

Manchester United have to win the match in hand to overtake them but their form is not that good either, and they still have to face Liverpool.

these are the very games that will decide the title and i said it earlier in the year .Arsenal problems will be draws and here is the first major one that they should have won.Arsenal looked very tired and the performance of the usually consistent hleb showed that. This could be Man U title ,if they can get over their recent result.

I think Arsenal will be up for the games against Man U and Chelsea and based on current results you would have to like Arsenals chances ,but they are very light on the bench right now. They have to hope they don't one more injury. They need to get Denilson back for sure because Gilberto is not doing it.They are veru light up front so they need to keep van pirsie healthy.

Wenger needs to buy someone up front,i heard that they offered Wenger the money to buy in january but declined spending obviously.I know wenger likes to filter players through his youth system, but i don't see anyone coming through to put up front when needed.
two seasons ago traore looked promising at the back, but the times he played this season he looked like trash.Hoyte also looked very poor and those two plus Bendtner were the reason Arsenal lost to Spurs.

Touré, Cesc and van Persie are the three most key and best players in the squad IMO. I don't think many would argue either - when fit they are the spine of our team.

few would argue, but few really understand the game. Hleb has been a rock in midfiled ,his effective dribbling ,unpredictable passing and tackling makes him one of the few players who are one of a kind in the league.Cesc is a very good player and when he get's on song Arsenal will be a better team, but the second half of this season he has been non existent let's face it.His goal at milan was a shocker, because he hasn't shown that kind of form for months.Van pirsie is obviously the most key player up front in my eyes and he couldn't be coming back at a more desperate time for Arsenal.I just hope he is fully fit.Toure who i have loved from day one has been a bit erratic so far. He has played well at times but lacked concentration also.He too has been missed in a big way, because the schedule has been incredibly busy for the thin sided Arsenal.
I would actually say coming off of the Milan game Walcott could be a major factor, because his confidence should be so high right now off of making that second goal. Arsenal need that type of quickness on the wings to keep the defenses honest from here on out.

By the way the pitch was a joke and made a big difference in the quality of the play for both sides, but more so Arsenals passing style.

He always, always picks a single player in a team and then makes exaggerated observations about them to make it look as if he has the deepest knowledge of that particular team. He picked Seol to talk about when he was at Reading, said that he could easily do a job for most Premier League teams Laughing

*Sighs* Another draw. But, i am ok with it. What an awful pitch. Also I am happy that we came out of that nightmare pitch without an injury. I was more worried than being happy when Van Persie was introduced earlier than i'd have imagined.

Can you guys tell me who United have to play against for that 'game in hand' and where??? They may very well go to the top of the table. But I am not worried much. Whenever we are behind, we seem to suddenly gather momentum and go ahead. Hoping for that again(I can hope right???). Also I am still confident of winning the League.

Another result that made me smile when i checked the results this morning, think I had a bet on under 2.5 goals in this match too owing to Wigans defence and the pitch.
