I personally was glad to hear that Stoke have signed a good youngster in Peter Sweeney, who signed on a free from Millwall. The 20-year-old Scot made over 50 performances for Millwall. Sweeney, a left midfileder, could be an important addition to the potters' squad. Notably he was the first signing under new boss Johan Boskamp. Hopefully it's a sign of things to come.

i think its great that we've just signed finnish winger Peter Kopteff from Viking Stavanger i noticed on many of cities games that they are lacking in good crosses from the wing, especially on friday nights leicester game where i saw many chances of a cross but the midfeilders we had just were not up to it. perhaps now that they have a decent winger, sammy will get us some nice headers through the net.
