because he is english and potentially better than david villa. At Man Utd, they don't just sign foreigners.

Are you joking?

Good player but wont be up there with the likes of villa in my opinion.

Agreed. Im also a valencia fan, and Villa is just getting better and better, seriously. He used to just be a lethal finisher with great pace, but recently he has improved his dribbling ability aswell as his link up play, and hes now even a gun at taking free kicks! Villa is just sublime these days and Agbonlahor wont ever be up to his standards.

no way is agbon anywhere near villa or will her ever be..villa is pure class. plus it would take more than 20 mill to get david villa. i personally would rather see Arsenal throw down 20 for benzema if its between agbon and benzema. but given this quota push and all things considered he'd fit in well at Arsenal then we could let bendtner walk cuz hes a crybaby overrated piece of crap. i think movin to Arsenal, playing a flowing style would help agbon reach a high level for club and country. good move for all parties considered and id welcome him. that said, i dont think villa are ready to cash in just yet.

We have world class mid fielders all over the pitch and on the bench.

I would just stick with trying to bolster up our defence for the remaining season.

maybe we do need a new one since ollie decided to retire ~ but it isn't quite essential though =)
yeah ~ we've already got plenty of world class mids ~ so just skip this option ~ lol
but it's a yes when it comes to defence ~ brown's soon leaving and ~ where's silvestre by the way? -.-?
strange thing that i just read a piece of news saying that fergie won't shop later in january ~ oops T.T

Too soon. The kid has pace but needs to work hard on other areas of his game and should remain at Villa where he is guaranteed to start.

Agbonlahor would be an excellent signing for Man Utd but is he worth 15 million?
Sounds a little expensive to me.

David Villa is an exelent player but I agree that Agbonlahor would be the better choice. Villa maybe a better player at the moment and has more experience but Agbonlahor has alot of potential, plus Man Utd is an English team who have a sense of responsibility for its National team.

ermm because abonglahor is english. Villa is not, Abonglahor is younger and is a promising striker and already proved himself in the premiership

And David Villa wouldn't go for £20m. I bet my ass he would cost a lot more, especially with Chelsea sniffing around. Didn't they get a £25m bid rejected last season?

His intelligence on the football pitch is shockingly poor. His pace carries him.

Very overrated in my opinion.

Being English, albeit a bonus, doesn't win you trophies.
