Interesting draw there. Good draw indeed in my opinion for Rangers, Sporting were very poor indeed against a second rate Bolton side and had to rely on a mixture of poor defending and a decent strike in the final minutes to really put the tie to bed. If Rangers can get on them from he word go, then i believe their defence will crack and providing Weir and Cuellar in particular perform to their best i can see Rangers getting themselves through. I would expect Bayern to continue their superb european form comfortably disposing of plucky Getafe.
The two ties of real interest for me that really could sway either way are Leverkusen against Zenit and in particular Fiorentina and PSV. I expect that to hopefully be a game featuring some decent attacking football and if i had to make a bold prediction for both ties i would say Fiorentina and Leverkusen to progress, |
