Derry City boss Stephen Kenny is set to make a number of changes for Friday night's Eircom Premier League derby match against Finn Harps (1945 GMT).

City won 3-2 at UCD in their league opener last week but Kenny rang the changes for Monday night's 3-1 defeat by Linfield in the Setanta Sports Cup.

"We will have a stronger look about us on Friday and we will be up for the game," said the Candystripes manager.

"A few players will have to come up to speed very quickly," he added.

Kenny awaits news of the fitness of Paddy McCourt and Mark Farren, who are both recovering from knocks.

Finn Harps could be without Stephen Parkhouse, who is suffering from a possible medial ligament injury, and Shaun Williams is doubtful with a swollen ankle.

Jonathan Minnock, former Derry player Gary Beckett and Marc Mukendi are also doubtful starters.

Paul Hegarty may pair Chris Breen and top-scorer Conor Gethins in attack for the Brandywell clash

Think I'm heading to the game tonight. Should be a good atmosphere and should be packed to the brims. Havn't seen either side this season yet but have to fancy the City for this one. I'll go with 2-1, just hope it's not a fecking scoreless draw

Finished 2-1, just been talking to a few people who were at the game, they were saying we deserved a draw but the defending again let us down. Not too bad though I suppose, we weren't expected to win and to push Derry all the way at the Brandywell is a respectable result

Great attendance apparently, up to 7,000 there according to people I was speaking to.

Good shout with the 2-1 there Ronan. Good game despite the pishing rain. Did you get to the game Conaldinho? Place was packed. Might have been a few 'part-timers' like myself but reckon they will be able to pull big crowds all season, especially if the results keep coming. I've never witnessed you play football Con but I'm 99% certain that your better than Clive Delaney

Nah I never made it, had to go down to Galway the next morning so it was too awkward.

We deserved a draw apparently but at least we got a result against UCD, 6 points from our first 3 games is a great start.

As for Delaney, I havent seen him play recently but hes always seemed decent enough, Im shite these days & havent played a proper game in months so it wouldnt be too hard to be better than me!
