She's still not mentioned on Arsenal.com though Rolling Eyes

I noticed they've now put up the match report from the Leeds fixture on Arsenal.com with Kim Little listed in the team. From the looks of it she played in central midfield.

And they've now added her to the players too Wink

I think you'd have a problem getting from Cardiff to Cwmbran on a Sunday if the public transport down there is anything like up here Sad

Gemma has now gone further back in the pecking order after the arrival of Kim Little.
I really would not be surprised to see her leave next summer now
According to fgmag they played this team :
Byrne, Scott, Tracy, White, Asante, Grant, Ludlow, Little, Smith, Carney, Sanderson. Subs: Spencer, Davison, Yankey

It would be a shame if she left - at least she gets on the bench along with Yanks - that's not bad for a team like ALFC.

With all of Fleets injuries I wonder if they will keep Gemma , when she's stepped in she has played very well. You do need strength in depth to win all the trophies as players will need to be rested.

Full time Arsenal won 4-2.

Hansen (sp) got equaliser for Donnie.

Luds made it 3-1, Hamilton pulled it back to 3-2, then Lianne got number 4 Wink

I just saw that on Arsenal.com and was going to mention it.

Can anyone suggest a reasonable way to get there by car?
I'm thinking of the problem parking.

No chance by train - I'll have missed the last one back to here during the first half Laughing

Nice pictures, Conner....enjoyed the game and that was the best I have seen Birmingham cope with Arsenal...second and third goals were late on and Birmingham were quite threatening at times. The opening goal was a typical Jayne header from a corner which 2 defenders tried to block on the line , second was a great turn and finish from Lianne and the third was a powerful Liane shot which went through the keepers hands. The pitch was very heavy and cut up a lot which made passing tricky but both sides tried to play good football and create openings.

well i dont think you can deny the 3rd goal being credited to Lianne ...the keeper just could not hold it and went in the net . The first goal Jayne headed towards goal and the two defenders just helped it in ....again i think it would be hard to deny the ball was not going in anyway .

It was the first time i have seen the Arsenal Ladies defending more than attacking , Birminghan had plenty of the ball and it was only the last 5 mins when we made the game safe ..the best players i thought were Kelly Smith and Lianne Sanderson ...always trying to find a bit of magic to get a chance on goal .

By the way ...one of the linesman was the tubbiest woman official i have ever seen .....she must have been knackered after the match ... Smile

Where is premier league the goal panel ? Laughing
The goals could be given to Jayne and Lianne but it's funnier to think of them as own goal.
