What a weekend we have to look forward to! The top four teams will go head to head as Manchester United host Liverpool and Arsenal visit Stamford Bridge. The race for the title is now back to a three horse race, with Man Utd leading the way.

Liverpool's trip to Old Trafford, kick off 13.30, is a game every footie fan must not miss. I think with Ronaldo in hot form and Liverpool's superstar duo Torres & Gerrard also doing the business for the Reds we are in for one hell of a game. One thing for certain is that we will not be short of goals. Liverpool who will admit they are out of the title race, but are still playing for a Champions League place will put in a good display to put a dent in United's title charge. United find themselves three points ahead of the Gunners and five above Chelsea and need all three points this Sunday. As a Red Devil I'm hoping for a United win with both Ronaldo & Rooney on the score sheet and Torres getting a consolation goal (he's in my Dream Team Very Happy ), giving United a 2-1 victory. Never the less we're in for a good un.

Another cracker at Stamford Bridge. As for the scoreline I couldn't care less, but seeing Chelsea lose always makes me sleep better at night. No, both sides have'nt had the best of form recently with Arsenal drawing their last four games, and Chelsea dropping points at White Harte Lane on Wednesday night. A draw will do me nicely, but I think looking at past results in this fixture I'll go with an Arsenal win, 1-0.

Any other predictions!?

I predict a warm welcome for Ashley cole from the traveling away Arsenal fans
and also an equally welcoming round of applause from Chelsea fans for William Gallas Smile

Avram Grants team have a poor record against the big teams this season and even though
Chelsea will be at home I'm going for Arsenal to win 1-0 which they used to be famous for doing!

Very Happy

Seriously, as a Gunner, I'd like an Arsenal win(Any scoreline will suffice Smile ). But Chelsea have a fantastic record at Home. So maybe a draw. But that may help ManU in the title race Mad . So I think both teams will go for a win at all costs and we might have a cracking match.

My heart says 1-0 or 2-1. Smile
But my mind says, 1-1 or 2-2. Sad

I only hope that the ref to be fair to both teams and not destroy he match for any teams.

Oh, BTW Steely, I am really really sorry for the argument in the other topic. I really am sorry.

Thanks for the vote of confidence. I'll see to it that it doesn't happen again. Smile

Coming to the topic, I'll again predict a squad for us which was completely true last weekend.

--------------------------Almunia
Sagna---------- Toure ----------- Gallas ----------- Clichy
Eboue ---------Fabregas -------- Flamini ------------- Hleb
--------------- Van Persie ------- Adebayor ----------------

Subs: Lehmann, Senderos, Gilberto, Walcott, Bendtner

Hope We'll win this game to keep up the pressure on ManU even thought this is an uphill game... Smile Very Happy

I hope so, Can't see it though. They havnt got the momentum anymore and are drawing too many games. The title is Uniteds for the taking... I said it back in November, it might have even been October! .....

I can see a red card or two in this one...more likely for Chelsea...

I say 1-0 for Arsenal with RVP scoring.

were's the Man U/ Liverpool thread?

very very tough one to call imo.I just don't like betting against either team and the ramifications of the result can be massive.I think Arsenal will go there to win and come out firing from kick off.If they rely on their fitness and run at Chelsea the whole game like they can, they will eventually get a goal.I think you may see adebayor and Bendtner start this one and maybe Van pirsie of the bench about midway through the game,as i don't know if he's completely match fit yet.If Arsenal are thier best and Chelsea theirs Arsenal beats them by 3-1.At tier best Arsenal are unstoppable, but they have shown less of that recently and relied on their heart to get results.
It will be as tense as they come and nobody but a fan of the top three will understand that.

sadly it does happen for the big games, on eteam blames the middle man for a poor decision.
I see a draw as both team need to win but wont want to loose as well.

This game is warming up, could have had a goal at either end. There are a few players on bookings right now on each side, Eboue is walking a thin line and I wouldn't be surprised to see him sent off in the 2nd half.

Hopefully they cancel one another out though.

lol at how noone seems to really care about this game, just been bumped by a United fan

All the hardcore Arsenal fans havent posted lately since they threw away their lead and the ones that are left dont actually watch the games I think.

I haven't been around because I've been very busy and also because of the f()cked up nature of the forum at the moment.

The game hasn't really been much eventful. No goals, no real quality of football or controversy. It's tight and it's interesting but it hasn't really developed from that. Perhaps after the game there'll be more opinions from the guys who are watching it.
