I dont know if Essien is hard or not he just looks like he could snap and go mental at any point.

If were talking about current EPL players I would say Stephen Hunt of Reading or maybe
Joey Barton of Newcastle who are both nut cases and should have anger management clases..

At West Ham we have Lee Bowyer and Lucas Neil who's reputations for being hard men are well known...

PS..Did anybody mention Robbie Savage?!

Agreed - this topic came up recently and I said the same thing. I'd back Essien to bang out any of the so called hard men in the league like Joey Barton and Rooney_79586.shtml'>Wayne Rooney.

now in all seriousness , micheal essien and drogba look strong men , there both built like tanks , yet as big built as drogba is , he goes down rather easy
