I agree, and the dubious penalty call in extra time to make the result a draw.

Or just because hes a clown.

Any player that holds his club to ransom by threatening to score own goals is scum in my opinion.

keane throwing his top down after being subbed was very silly! but i find it more silly simply because he plays for Spurs...i'd laugh it off if van persie had done it. you'll never like something an Arsenal player does, thats the way it goes! Smile

yeah i mean it is typical ...Big Jono thinks Eboue should have been sent off today ...yes he got a yellow card for stupidly blocking the free kick early ....deserved ... what was the red card offence then . ? I think sometimnes some of these Tottenham supporters go into automatic scum calling mode when talking about Arsenal games ..

About 5 other cynical fouls? Mouthing off for the referee?

And if you read what I said again I didnt say I thought he should have been sent off, I said had Bennett been refereeing this game he would have been sent off.

The mood Bennett was in today im sure im right.

So pull your head in and read posts properly before making accusations like that, and I dont think we are supposed to call teams by nicknames like Scum anymore.

ok possibly ...but i dont resort to calling any players scum ....maybe that is just how i8 was brought up .

As for the game ...gutted ....we really have thrown away the title in the last month ...from a possible 8 pt lead until we blew it in the last seconds against Birmingham ....to a now 6 pt gap between us and Man Utd ...

I have witnessed the dominance of Man Utd in the 90`s and they will not drop enough points to allow either us or Chelsea to overtake them in the final few weeks ....they know how to win the title ..they are too strong i think ..even if we beat them in a few weeks it would not matter ...i dont see them losing to any of the other teams ..

We did noy play well enough today ....Adebayor was on holiday ....Hlebb looked as if he did not know what to do ...Fabergas has lost his magic ....poor from most of the team apart from maybe Clichy and Almunia ...

Well at least we didnt draw again ... Wink

Next time they go on about how great a player like J.Cole,Lampard,Ronaldo etc are, tell them to look at this game and watch a true big game player,Drogba.
Where were those other two who getting all that credit against Derby, what a joke. The evidence is right there for everyone to see.The man who basically kept Chelsea alive last season up front does it again in a big game.So let's have it right a game of that magnitude and J.Cole and lampard were no where near a threat.
Those commentators make me sick, they said he wasn't sround in the first half and that's trash. He was there up front lone striker holding up the ball and laying it off for his teammates at will.

This game had more at stake than the Liverpool/man u game because both teams are still in the title race
Drogba played big and Ronaldo still couldn't have his usual performance even against 10 men, what a joke.

As they say Ronaldo couldn't carry Drogba's jockstrap. There are those that see the game for what it is and those that get distracted by media hype and misleading stats against meaningless opponents.

I think it's safe to say that Adebayor is not in Drogba's league either.

On another note it seems Arsenal's title race is almost over and now maybe they can try and concentrate on Champions League, but my guess is that the squad is too thin right now.If they were playing a non British team for the Euro crown they would have a better chance but against Liverpool is going to be tough with so many injuries.

I think you are right. There is a slim chance if Arsenal beat Man U and Chelsea beat Man U as well.

at the beginning of the season i think i predicted United for top spot, Chelsea for second, Arsenal for third and Liverpool for fourth. the way the league had been going going (until a few weeks ago) i was starting to think i was wrong about positions 2 and 3, but it seems Chelsea do have what it takes to keep chasing United, even more so than Arsenal. of course, we still have to play both of them (Chelsea away) so you never know what might happen...

Chelsea will beat man u there is no question about that, after watching man u struggle against Liverpool who basically had nothing to really play for and are obviously concentrating on Champions League in a few days.If Chelsea keep their form they will beat Man u and if you are intelligent enough you could actually see Chelsea winning the league. They have a deeper team no real injury problems and have momentum, not only that they are all experienced players with age on their side.
If i'm picking the Chelsea team to play in the league i put j.Cole and Lampard in the line -up,for Champions League they are on the bench and i put Ballack, essien and malouda in.They are just technically better players and far more intelligent.

Haha your are having a complete laugh aren't you. Please God, tell me your winding someone up...Struggled to beat Liverpool? They controlled the game from start to finish and created various chances and hit the net 3 times. Thats not what I call struggling. Chelsea will more than likely put oin a better shift than Liverpool but they'll not walk over United. Your a crazy deluded madman my friend

"walk all over them"

That's your words not mine.

But yeah,Chelsea will beat United and you can quote that after the game.
You are completely delusional, even though Liverpool didn't really threaten Man U's goal they did a good job of maintaining the score until they got tired and man U scored two quick goal which backs that up.

If it wasn't for Reina it could have been 6 or 7. Stopped a few 1 on 1's with both Rooney & Ronaldo. I'm not questioning your opinion on how the Chelsea v Man U match goes but I can't understand why your so sure they'll beat them. United didn't need to push onto Liverpool as from the minute the first goal went in, the game was never in doubt.

Would just like to add that Scholes is unbeleivable. If I had to choose between him, Gerrard & Lampard for one season only, the ginger would be my pick. Controlled todays game and everything was played at his pace. Class act

Arsenal fans are kidding themselves with all this "great season" talk if the league table stays like this.

Sure the Champions League is an opportunity to win a trophy, but one bad night, or a bit of bad luck and it could really get pear shaped for Wenger and his "dream" of winning trophies by buying players for no more than 2 cows and 2 goats. I'm not gonna go on a full rant yet, cause the young guns are still in the mix, but the way they are blowing this chance for silverware is pretty amazing in my eyes.

I think the Arsenal fans are too much in shock to realise it yet. Razz

I dont understand your point above Confused you referred to Gallas as being scum and i was just saying that a lot of Tottenham supporters think of Arsenal and its players as scum whether they have done anything wrong or not ..no criticism of you or offence intended ...just all part of the rivalry of Arsenal and Spurs ...
