Sad well we really blew it against the manturians yesterday. i have been on to other fans and because i criticise rafas way of doing things they say i am not a true fan, ??? i find their way of thinking rather odd. the reason i get so [beep!] off with beni and co is because i am a fan. if shankly had not got us into the first div. and brought us on to become the greatest team in the world we would not still love him today. i just cant see rafa being so successful. well there you are another hope dashed Mad

He can try next season. Let's hear his talk about winning the league when the 2008-2009 season starts after spending another 50million and then by Christmas 20 points behind the Big 3 he'll be saying we can still win it. Ben91 will be pointing out that mathematically they can still win it again and so on.

Did you agree with the non-bold statements there or do you think Liverpool will go on to be a real challenge to the title next season.?

Depends on how Rafa spends in the summer. Plus he needs to get his priorities sorted. League first, Champions League second. Impossible to tell what'll happen next season

Pleonasm is the use of more words (or even word-parts) than necessary to express an idea clearly. The word comes originally from Greek πλεονασμός ("excess"). A closely related, narrower concept (some would say a subset of pleonasm) is rhetorical tautology, in which essentially the same thing is said more than once in different words (e.g "black darkness", "cold ice", "burning fire"). Regardless, both are a form of redundancy. Pleonasm and tautology each refer to different forms of redundancy in speech and the written word.
