It's so difficult to score in a position like that because ball comes directly from the air Wink

True.

But what was with that goal from Luca Toni? Should have counted. 1:1 would fit better imo. The italians also had some other big chances. Spain had one by Torres in the first half though.

It was a beautiful goal, Spain is one of the favourite of the Euro but may be there will be another surprise Romania or Greece have good results.

The best keeper of the world.

He almost was there, but it was impossible for any keeper to save it.

Btw we didn't deserve to lose, Spain played well but we had our chances too, and of course the third disallowed goal in last 4 matches...( and none of them was clear, of course )

Congrats to Spain for the victory, a very good team full of great youngster, you can do well at Euro2008

I think last night we could watch the best two goalkeepers right now, casillas and buffon, but it's hard to choose who is better...

Yeah I know we're world champions in friendlies. Then we suck in important trophies. But I didn't post this thread to brag, cause there's nothing to brag about when you win a friendly. I just liked the goal.

Big Revolution, it's not fair to say Villa was lucky. It was an awesome goal and we all should admit it. The second best keeper in the world (Buffon), couldn't stop it.

I suppose you haven't read my old posts Wink

I didn't say anything like it was not a good goal. It's a wonderful taken goal but what I mean is,it's so hard to score in a position like that. His luck assisted to him, too. Wink

How many times can you get a score in a position like that?

Not many, but my point is that you can't say it was a matter of luck. That'd be like saying Zidane's goal in the final of the CL 2002 was lucky, Maradona's in 1986 was lucky... etc. I mean, yeah well, maybe you need a glint of luck, but overall you need to have the quality enough.
