Finished top of the group, unbeaten in Europe and two great goals by Massimo Maccarone last night!!

If anyone watched the match i'll apologise on behalf of the team - i'm very sorry if you had to sit through that trash, i wouldn't wish it upon anybody. First 10 and last 10 minutes were good but tis a shame about the other 70 minutes!! Did anyone see how empty the Riverside was aswell? 9,000 attendance for a European game is quite disgusting! But i can't speak i didnt go to the game i was in the pub watchin it instead.

Anyway may the red and white army march on and conquer europe!! UP THE BORO!!

Yes $enior, we got the match here in the states...I agree with everything you say about it, pretty much of a bore, Maccarone's goal's were something to behold. But, the first thing I noticed when I turned it on were all the empty seats, which I couldn't believe. Sure it's not the Champions League, but it is the UEFA Cup. Is Boro's attendance always that sparse? Looked like some of the MLS teams here in the states.

If Spurs were in the UEFA Cup White Hart Lane would be packed to the rafters! Give your spot to a team that will appreciate it!!!!!
