Of our remaining 6 games we should pick up at least 15 points. Maybe i am asking to much but the teams we have got to play are all very beatable, excluding the gooners. I have never been worried about finishing outside the Champs League places, i think we are there.

The game was pretty easy today. Nice finish from Torres. I will try and muster the energy to right about it later if can be bothered but there isnt much to say. Not to sure about Lucas at the mo, think he is a weak link in the midfield. Thought Kuyt played well. Gerrard was better and played well also.

Regarding babel, i think you make some very good points forev. I think he can become a very good player but he needs to improve on the basics. He is like Shaun wright-Phillips. When running with the ball it is either hit to far ahead of himself or gets caught under his feet. He has improved in recent weeks but he has a hell of a lot of work to do. I dont think it helps that he is played on the left and he is right footed.

Lucas was awful today, the game passed him by. I was afraid of this before the match & there's still a lot of work to be done with the lad. It's still early for him but Id like to see some improvement.

Oh & Yessica, here's the view from my seat Cool

If you didn't have that bad spell mid-season you would be up there with the big 3.

Jari Litmanen was a quality player for Ajax. Shame he was past his best when he came to Liverpool

A side note for me, I've heard Liverpool fans rave about Babel for a while now saying he's going to be this and that when he settles and from next season on he'll be one of the best wingers in Europe.... Not for me, I just don't see it in him to be honest. Don't get me wrong, he has a bit of promise and will develop more but I don't think he'll be at the forefront as a star of the future. There will be times when he pulls off something special and people will laud praise on him but overall I don't think he'll be that great. That's just my opinion, you can quote me on it in the future and maybe next season you can reflect on what I've said to gloat about it and I'll admit I was wrong if that's the case but I'm pretty confident.

Thoughts on that?

Totally agree mate,i'm not a fan of Babel to be honest,he never seems to have the confidence to take his man on,and when he eventually does after the 10th time of trying he hits the same defender when trying to get his cross in,he had loads of promise and a good reputation when he joined us but hasn't lived up to it consistently enough,a lot similar to Kewell really, maybe i'm being a bit harsh with it being his first season but he doesn't look in the same class as someone like Nani for example..

As for the game,it was all over after 6 minutes,we got the goal and never looked in trouble from then on,we were happy to slow the game down knowing Everton didn't pose much threat going forward, very boring to watch but i'm happy nonetheless

We did see him playing for Ajax, that's where he showed his promise and built a decent reputation, but the dutch league is nowhere near as difficult as the English Premier League, just ask Mateja Kezman or even Dirk Kuyt even though he's a right winger nowadays lol

He'd better Wink

He had a couple of good runs today. He really does have to get used to using his left foot if he's gonna get stuck playing that position though. I want to see him play in Kuyt's spot and get a proper left winger in his stead.
